Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam mengembangkan kreativitas siswa kelas V SD SIAS. Jenis dan rancangan penelitian berupa penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunkan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian ini mengguanakan dua kelas paralel, satu kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan satu kelas yang lain sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pada kelas kontrol diterapkan model pembelajaran konvensional dan pada kelas eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD SIAS yang berjumlah 26 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan Tes Kreativitas Figural (TKF) dan data dianalisis dengan teknik uji T. Hasil pengolahan statistik dan analisis isi mengindikasikan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan kreativitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kreativitas antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri dan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Secara umum, tingkat kreativitas siswa kelas V SD SIAS tahun ajaran 2016/2017 berada pada kategori dibawah rata-rata yakni sebanyak 23 orang dari jumlah 26 siswa dengan jumlah persentase 86, 96%. Peningkatan pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen memiliki hasil yang berbeda dan signifikan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuri dapat mengembangkan kreativitas siswa kelas V SD SIAS Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat lebih memperluas populasi penelitian sehingga keterbatasan penelitian mengenai validitas eksternal penelitian ini.;---The purpose of this research/study is to examine the effectiveness of inquiry learning model in developing the creativity of 5thgrade student ofSIAS elementary School. Type and research plan that being used is quasi-experimental research withpretest-posttest control group design. This research/study is using two parallel classes, one class as a control class, and the other class as experimental class. Conventional learning model is applied at control class and Inquiry learning model is applied at experimental class. The sample of the research is the 5th grade student of SIAS elementary which amounted to 26 students. Data collected by Figural Creativity Test (Tes Kreativitas Figural=TKF) and data are analyzed by T test technique. The results of statistical processing and content analysis indicate that the inquiry learning model can assist students in developing creativity.The results show that there is a difference of creativity between students who studied with inquiry model and students who studied with direct learning model. Generally, the level of creativity of grade student of SIAS elementary School of academic year 2016/2017, is in the category below the average which is as many as 23 students from 26 students with the percentage of 86, 96%.The increase in the control group and the experimental group has different and significant results. From the result of this study, can be concluded that inquiry learning model can develop creativity of grade student of SIAS elementary School of academic year 2016/2017. Further research/study is expected to expand the research/study population so that the limitations of research on the external validity of this study.
