Abstract

Konsumen muslim diwajibkan untuk mengonsumsi produk makanan halal. Selain karena perintah agama, mengonsumsi makanan yang halal juga baik untuk kesehatan. Masih adanya penemuan produk makanan yang haram beredar, menimbulkan konsumen muslim harus berhati-hati dalam melakukan pembelian produk makanan. Salah satu produk makanan yang masih diragukan kehalalannya yaitu Samyang ramen. Samyang ramen yang sedang viral di Indonesia membuat para remaja muslim melakukan pembelian pada produk tersebut, padahal produk tersebut masih belum memiliki sertifikat halal dari MUI dan disinyalir mengandung bahan-bahan yang haram. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pengaruh pengetahuan produk makanan halal dan religiusitas mahasiswa muslim UPI terhadap keputusan pembelian produk makanan Samyang ramen. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 80 orang diwakili fakultas yang berada di UPI. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan teknik quota sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan explanatory method untuk mengidentifikasi keputusan konsumen mahasiswa muslim UPI terhadap produk makanan Samyang ramen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan produk makanan halal dan religiusitas terhadap keputusan konsumen produk makanan Samyang ramen. Pengetahuan produk makanan halal sudah baik dan mahasiswa muslim UPI memiliki tingkat religiusitas yang sedang. Hasil regresi linier berganda menujukkan bahwa pengetahuan produk makanan halal dan religiusitas mahasiswa muslim UPI berpengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhadap keputusan pembelian produk makanan Samyang ramen.;--- Consumption of halal food products is compulsory for Muslim community. Aside of religios reason, consuming halal is also good for health. With the finding of haram raw material in foods products, causing Muslim consumers has to be careful for making food purchase decisions. One of the food products are still doubtful halalness is Samyang ramen. Samyang ramen which is being viral in Indonesia makes Muslim teenagers make a purchase on the product, though these products still do not have a halal certificate from MUI and allegedly contained materials that are unlawful. This study identifies the influence of halal food products knowledge and the religiosity of UPI Muslim students on the purchasing decision of Samyang ramen food products. The number of samples is used as many as 80 people represented by faculties in UPI. The sample is using purposive sampling method with quota sampling technique. This study uses explanatory method to identify consumer decision of UPI Muslim student to Samyang ramen food product with quantitative descriptive approach. Multiple linear regression is used to analyze the effect of halal food products knowledge and religiosity on consumer decisions of Samyang ramen food products. Halal food products knowledge of UPI Muslim student is quite good and have a moderate level of religiosity. The results of multiple linear regression showed that the knowledge of halal food products and the religiosity of UPI Muslim students have a significant and negative impact on the purchase decision Samyang ramen food products.
