Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya stimulasi tumbuh kembang terhadap anak yang dilakukan oleh orang tua yang memiliki anak balita. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah : 1) Mendeskripsikan partisipasi orang tua pada program bina keluarga balita (BKB). 2) Mendeskripsikan proses stimulasi yang dilakukan oleh peserta program BKB dalam tumbuh kembang balita. 3) Mengetahui dampak partisipasi orang tua terhadap tumbuh kembang balita di keluarga dengan mempertimbangkan variabel tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan usia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah berupa angket. Subyek penelitian ini adalah ibu-ibu orang tua balita peserta program bina keluarga balita (BKB) di Rw 03 Kelurahan Cigugur Tengah Kecamatan Cimahi Tengah Kota Cimahi. Karakteristik sampel dilihat dari pendidikan, pekerjaan dan usia nya. Meskipun begitu sampel dari penelitian ini tetap bersifat homogen karena semuanya merupakan ibu-ibu orang tua balita peserta BKB, maka penarikan sampel menggunakan random sampling dimana jumlah ibu peserta BKB sebanyak 100 orang dengan menggunakan taraf kesalahan sebesar 5% sehingga mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 80. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Partisipasi orang tua terhadap kegiatan BKB dapat dikatakan tinggi berdasarkan kehadiran rutin orang tua anggota BKB pada kegiatan bulanan BKB. 2) Stimulasi tumbuh kembang balita dari orang tua yang berpartisipasi pada kegiatan BKB dapat dikatakan baik berdasarkan pemenuhan kesehatan gizi dan kesehatan anak, kasih sayang yang diberikan kepada anak, stimulasi pada tujuh aspek perkembangan serta pengasuhan pada anak. 3) Partisipasi orang tua tidak berdampak pada stimulasi tumbuh kembang balita apabila dilihat dari pendidikan, pekerjaan dan usia ibu anggota BKB;--- This study is based on the importance of stimulation of growth and development of children by parents who have children under five. The purpose of this study are: 1) Describe the participation of parents in the program of developing a family of under five (BKB). 2) Describe the stimulation process undertaken by BKB program participants in the growth of infants. 3) Knowing the impact of parents' participation on the growth of children under five in the family by considering the variable level of education, work, and age. This research is descriptive research using quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study is a questionnaire. The subjects of this research are the mother of the parents of the under-five participants of the family development program (BKB) in Rw 03 Kelurahan Cigugur Tengah Kecamatan Cimahi Tengah Cimahi City. Characteristics of the sample seen from education, work and age. Nevertheless, the samples of this study remain homogeneous because all of them are the mother of the parents of toddler BKB participants, then the sampling using random sampling where the number of participants BKB mothers as many as 100 people using the error rate of 5% so get 80 samples. Shows that: 1) Parent participation on BKB activities can be said to be high based on the regular attendance of BKB members' parents on monthly activities of BKB. 2) Stimulation of under-five growth from parents who participate in BKB activities can be said to be good based on the fulfillment of health nutrition and child health, affection given to children, stimulation in seven aspects of development and child care. 3) Parental participation does not affect the growth of toddler stimulation when viewed from the education, work and age of BKB member's mother
