Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Dukungan Sosial dan Konsep Diri dengan Gejala Post Power Syndrome pada Purnawirawan TNI di Kota Bandung. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode korelasional dengan teknik analisis spearmen-product moment yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui korelasi antar variabel. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 98 Purnawirawan TNI di Bandung. Data diperoleh melalui instrument Dukungan Sosial, Konsep Diri dan gejala Post Power Syndrome yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti yang telah diuji cobakan dan dimodifikasi untuk keperluan penelitian ini. Reliabilitas instrumen Dukungan Sosial sebesar 0,923, Konsep Diri sebesar 0.841 dan reliabilitas instrumen gejala Post Power Syndrome sebesar 0,582. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Dukungan Sosial dan Konsep Diri dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,603 yang berada pada tingkat korelasi tinggi, lalu koefisien korelasi dukungan sosial dengan Post Power Syndrome sebesar 0.261 yang berada pada tingkat korelasi lemah dan koefisien korelasi konsep diri dengan Post Power Syndrome sebesar 0.173 berada pada tingkat lemah namun tidak signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan konsep diri dan signifikasi lemah antara dukungan sosial dan konsep diri dengan gejala post power syndrome;--- This research aims to know the relationship of social support with the concept of self against the symptoms Post Power Syndrome on the retired army in the city of Bandung. The approach that is used to test the research hypothesis is the quantitative approach through correlation method with analysis techniques spearmen-product moment that function to know the correlation between the variables. Using the technique of random sampling, this research done to 98 retired TNI in Bandung. The Data obtained through the instrument social support, the self concept and the symptoms Post Power Syndrome that has been developed by researchers that have been tested have tried and modified for the purpose of this research. Reliability of social support instrument 0,923, the concept of self of 0.841 and reliability of the instrument symptoms Post Power Syndrome of 0,582. The results of this research shows that there is a significant positive relationship between social support and the concept of self with the value of the correlation coefficient of 0,603 located on the level of high correlation and correlation coefficient social support with Post Power Syndrome of 0.261 which is located on the level of weak correlation and correlation coefficient concept of self with Post Power Syndrome of 0.173 located on the level of weak. It can be concluded there is a significant correlation between social support with the self concept and any weak (negative) between social support and the concept of self with the symptoms post power syndrome
