Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh 2 hal yaitu: 1) keadaan pendidikan Indonesia yang sedang mengalami krisis multidimensi, baik dari segi mutu maupun output pendidikan. 2) Kontribusi pendidikan Islam yang diterapkan di MA Putra Dār Al-Arqam Garut terhadap penanggulangan krisis pendidikan melalui pembentukan sumber daya manusia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan fenomena yang nampak kemudian dianalisis dan ditafsirkan sehingga menjadi sebuah temuan berupa model pendidikan Islam di MA Putra Dār Al-Arqam Garut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa model pendidikan yang diterapkan di MA Putra Dār Al-Arqam Garut memiliki kekhasan dalam kurikulum yang diterapkan. Pasalnya, madrasah ini memadukan secara utuh dua kurikulum sekaligus secara bersamaan, yakni kurikulum kepesantrenan dengan kurikulum nasional. Hal tersebut guna menopang dan mendukung tercapainya tujuan Pesantren Dār Al-Arqam Garut, menciptakan ulama tarjih yang handal naik dalam ilmu agama maupun ilmu umum, dan Organisasi Masa Islam yang memayunginya, yakni Muḥammadiyah. Adapun madrasah ini menggunakan sistem full day school atau lebih tepatnya menggunakan sistem sekolah-asrama —boarding Scholl—, sehingga pembiasaan, pembinaan, dan pengawasan dapat dilakukan 24 jam penuh. Dan tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa sistem yang diterapkan oleh sekolah tersebut menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan mampu berkontribusi nyata bagi masyarakat. Selain itu, lulusan sekolah tersebut juga mampu menembus perguruan tinggi ternama, baik di Indonesia maupun diluar Indonesia.;---This research is motivated by two things, namely: 1) the condition of Indonesian education which is experiencing multidimensional crisis, both in terms of quality and output of education. 2) The contribution of Islamic education applied in Son Islamic Senior High School of Dār Al-Arqam Garut to overcome the crisis of education through the formation of human resources. The method used is a qualitative approach by describing the apparent phenomenon then analyzed and interpreted so that it becomes a finding in the form of Islamic education model in Son Islamic Senior High School of Dār Al-Arqam Garut. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observation and documentation studies. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the model of education applied in Son Islamic Senior High School of Dār Al-Arqam Garut has a specificity in the applied curriculum. The reason, this madrasa integrates two curriculum simultaneously simultaneously, namely the Islamic-curriculum with the national curriculum. This is to sustain and support the achievement of the Islamic-Institution Dār Al-Arqam Garut, to create a reliable islamic-scientes up in the science of religion as well as general science, and Islamic umbrella Organization that umay, namely Muḥammadiyah. The school uses a full day school system or rather using a boarding school system, so habituation, coaching, and supervision can be done 24 hours full. And it can not be denied that the system implemented by the school produces excellent human resources and able to contribute real to the community. In addition, the graduate of the school is also able to penetrate the famous universities, both in Indonesia and outside Indonesia.
