Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan LKS praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada topik daun pepaya sebagai katalis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan dan validasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar analisis kesesuaian indikator keterampilan inkuiri dengan LKS praktikum, lembar analisis kesesuaian konsep dengan LKS praktikum, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri, pedoman penilaian jawaban siswa terhadap tugas-tugas yang terdapat pada LKS, angket respon siswa, serta lembar validasi guru dan dosen. Karakteristik LKS praktikum pada topik pengaruh katalis terhadap laju reaksi yang beredar tergolong dalam kategori yang buruk (19,23%) dan untuk kesesuaian konsep tergolong dalam kategori cukup baik (55%). Hasil optimasi prosedur praktikum pengaruh katalis daun pepaya terhadap laju reaksi penguraian hidrogen peroksida menggunakan volume ekstrak daun pepaya sebanyak 8 tetes dan 5 mL H2O2 dengan konsentrasi 5%. Validasi guru dan dosen terhadap aspek kesesuaian indikator keterampilan inkuiri konsep kebahasaan dan penampilan fisik termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik (89,7%). Keterlaksanaan praktikum berdasarkan uji keterlaksanaan tahap-tahap inkuiri dan skor jawaban terhadap tugas-tugas dalam LKS termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik (94,93%). Respon siswa terhadap pelaksaan praktikum serta LKS yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kategori baik (80,17%).----- This research aims to develop and produce guided inquiry-based lab worksheet with topic papaya leaves as a catalyst. This research used development and validation methods. The instruments that used in this research is suitability analysis sheets of the inquiry skill indicators with laboratory worksheets, suitability analysis sheets of concept with laboratory worksheets, sheets of validation by teacher and lecturer, observation sheets of inqury stages eligibility, rubric for scoring student’s answer for every task in the worksheet, and student’s response questionnaires. The characteristics of available worksheets in the effect of catalyst on the rate of reaction categorized of bad (19,23%) and for suitability with the concept categorized not to bad (55%). The optimization result the effect of papaya leaf as catalyst on the rate of reaction hydrogen peroxide procedure use 8 drops extract of papaya and 5 mL H2O2 with concentration 5%.Teacher and lecturer validation on the inquiry skill indicators suitability, the concept suitability, languange, and appearance of worksheet is categorized as very good (89,7%). The eligibility of laboratory experiment based on the observation of inquiry stages and students scores of the tasks in the worksheets is categorized as very good (94,93%). Students’s responses of laboratory activity and the worksheet is categorized as good (80,17%).
