Abstract
Permasalahan mengenai kepuasan kerja telah menjadi topik yang menarik bagi bidang akademis maupun praktisi dalam masa empat dekade terakhir bahkan telah menjadi salah satu variabel yang sering dipelajari dalam perilaku organisasi maupun sumber daya manusia. Tenaga kerja yang merasa tidak puas dengan pekerjaannya maka tidak akan termotivasi untuk bekerja lebih baik sehingga organisasi tidak dapat mencapai kesuksesan. Kurangnya kepuasan kerja karyawan akan menghasilkan tingkat komitmen yang rendah dan dapat mempengaruhi kinerja serta pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran penghargaan finansial, (2) gambaran keselamatan & kesehatan kerja, (3) gambaran kepuasan kerja, (4) pengaruh penghargaan finansial terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, (5) pengaruh keselamatan & kesehatan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, dan (6) pengaruh penghargaan finansial dan keselamatan & kesehatan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel yaitu non-probability sampling menggunakan sampel jenuh yang berjumlah 66 responden.. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 22.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran penghargaan finansial dalam kategori cukup sesuai, keselamatan & kesehatan kerja dalam kategori baik, dan kepuasan kerja dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan perusahaan dapat memperbaiki sistem penghargaan finansial dengan memberikan bonus yang sesuai dengan beban kerja yang dilakukan dan pemeriksaan keselamatan & kesehatan kerja agar menunjang peningkatan kepuasan kerja karyawan.;---The issue of job satisfaction has become an interesting topic for academics and practitioners in the last four decades has even become one of the variables that are often studied in organizational behavior as well as human resources. Workers who are not satisfied with their work will not be motivated to work better so that the organization can not achieve success. Lack of employee job satisfaction will result in a low level of commitment and can affect the performance and achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to obtain (1) a description of financial reward, (2) description of occupational safety and health, (3) job satisfaction picture, (4) influence of financial reward on employee job satisfaction, (5) occupational safety & health impact to job satisfaction employees, and (6) the effect of financial rewards and occupational safety & health on employee job satisfaction. The method used is explanatory survey with sample technique that is non-probability sampling using saturation sample amounting to 66 respondents. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with computer software tools Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 22.0 for windows. The findings in this study indicate that the description of financial reward in the category is quite appropriate, safety & health work in the good category, and job satisfaction in the high category. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that the company can improve the financial reward system by providing bonus in accordance with the workload performed and the inspection of occupational safety & health in order to support the improvement of employee job satisfaction.
