Abstract

Saat ini jumlah minuman ringan kemasan yang beredar di pasaran sudah sangat banyak dengan berbagai jenis rasa dan aroma serta belum terjamin keamanan dan kesehatanya. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian mengenai toksisitas minuman kemasan dengan menggunakan hewan uji Daphnia magna yang biasa digunakan untuk uji toksisitas. Sebelum masuk ke tahapan uji toksisitas dilakukan analisis kandungan kimia sampel minuman.Selanjutnya dilakukan uji toksisitas yaitu, Range Finding Test dan Definitive Test. Hasil Range Finding Test menunjukan 50% kematian organisme Daphnia magna terdapat pada pengenceran 10-100% sehingga seri pengenceran untuk Definitive Test yaitu 15%, 22%, 32%, 46%, dan 68%. Hasil analisis menunjukan nilai LC50 24h untuk sampel minuman ringan kemasan gelas Panter 33,05%; Meico 40,41%; Teh Bukit 50,70%; Teh Zegar 42,93%; dan Degan 40,84%. Nilai LC50 48h untuk minuman Panter 22,85%; Meico 23,26% ; Teh Bukit 24,62%; Teh Zegar 27,46 %; dan Degan 25,67 %. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelima sampel minuman ringan gelas bersifat toksik, karena nilai LC50 kurag dari 100%.---------- Currently the number of soft drinks are on the market already very much with various types of flavor and aroma and not guaranteed security and health. The substances contained therein may be chronic that can damage the body. Therefore, research on toxicity of beverages by using Daphnia magna test animals commonly used for toxicity test. Prior to entering toxicity test stage, chemical content analysis of beverage samples is done. Next is toxicity test, there are 2 stages in doing this toxicity test that is, Range Finding Test and Definitive Test. The result of Range Finding Test showed 50% mortality of Daphnia magna organism is at 10-100% dilution so that the dilution series for Definitive Test is 15%, 22%, 32%, 46%, and 68%. The results showed that the range of LC50 24h Panter 33,05%; Meico 40,41%; Teh Bukit 50,70%; Teh Zegar 42,93%; dan Degan 40,84%, and LC50 48h Panter 22,85%; Meico 23,26% ; Teh Bukit 24,62%; Teh Zegar 27,46 %; dan Degan 25,67 %. So it can be concluded that all samples are toxic, because LC50 value less than100%.
