Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh romantic beliefs dengan kualitas hubungan pada dewasa awal yang berpacaran dan untuk mengetahui apakah jenis hubungan memoderasi pengaruh romantic beliefs terhadap kualitas hubungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan partisipan berjumlah 300 orang (75 laki-laki, 225 perempuan) dewasa awal usia 20 sampai 40 tahun di Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah The Romantic Beliefs Scale (RBS) untuk mengukur romantic beliefs dan Perceived Relationship Quality Components (PRQC) untuk mengukur kualitas hubungan yang diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Multiple Regression Analysis (regresi berganda). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh romantic beliefs terhadap kualitas hubungan, tidak terdapat pengaruh jenis hubungan terhadap kualitas hubungan, dan tidak terdapat pengaruh antara romantic beliefs dan jenis hubungan terhadap kualitas hubungan.---------- This study aims to determine the effect of romantic beliefs with the quality of relationships in early adulthood dating and to determine whether this type of relationship moderates the influence of romantic beliefs on the quality of relationships. The research method used is quantitative method with 300 participants (75 men, 225 women) of early adult age 20 to 40 years in Bandung. The instrument used in this study is The Romantic Beliefs Scale (RBS) to measure romantic beliefs and Perceived Relationship Quality Components (PRQC) to measure the quality of relationships adapted into Bahasa Indonesia. Data analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis (multiple regression). The result shows that there is influence of romantic beliefs on relationship quality, there is no influence of relationship type to relationship quality, and there is no influence between romantic beliefs and relationship type to relationship quality.
