Abstract

Penelitian filologi dengan objek kajian naskah kuno telah banyak dilakukan. Namun, umumnya baru sampai alih aksara dan terjemahan. Objek penelitian ini adalah Naskah “Melak Paré” koleksi Museum Negeri Sribaduga. Naskah “Melak Paré” berisikan tentang tata cara menanam padi pada zaman dahulu, dari mulai melakukan ritual sebelum menanam padi hingga padi sudah mulai bisa dipanen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyajikan bentuk kesalahan tulis yang terdapat pada teks naskah “Melak Paré”, menyajikan edisi teks dan terjemahan yang mudah dipahami dalam teks naskah “Melak Paré”, dan menyajikan isi kandungan teks dalam naskah “Melak Paré”. Untuk menindaklanjuti tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan kajian filologis yang meliputi transliterasi, kritik teks, edisi teks, dan terjemahan. Kajian filologis dilakukan dengan tujuan menghasilkan sebuah edisi teks yang bersih dari kesalahan. Metode filologi yang digunakan yaitu metode naskah tunggal edisi standar. Selanjutnya, setelah melakukan kajian filologi, dilakukan tinjauan kandungan isi teks bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam apa isi naskah tersebut. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, diketahui hasil kritik teks yang didapatkan yaitu empat kategori emendasi. Ke empat emendasi tersebut bisa terjadi karena penulis/penyalin kurang teliti atau penulis/penyalin menulis apa adanya sesuai dengan aksara sumber (arab pegon). Sedangkan untuk omisi dan adisi tidak ditemukan dalam teks Naskah “Melak Paré”. Dapat dikatakan bahwa Naskah “Melak Paré” merupakan teks yang dituli/disalin oleh penulis/penyalin yang cermat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat untuk masyarakat luas.---------- Philological research with the object of study of ancient manuscripts has been widely practiced. However, it is generally only up to the alphabet and translation. The object of this research is "Melak Paré" manuscript which is one of the collection of State Museum Sribaduga. The "Melak Paré" manuscript contains the procedures for planting rice in ancient times, from starting a ritual before planting the rice until the rice finally ready to be harvested. The purpose of this study is to present the form of a written error found in the text of "Melak Paré", presenting an easily understood edition of the text and translations of the text "Melak Paré", and presenting the content of the text of "Melak Paré". To follow up the objective, this research uses philological studies which include transliteration, textual criticism, text edition, and translation. A philological study was conducted with the aim of producing a clean text edition from the writing error. The method of philology used is the standard single edition manuscript method. Furthermore, after doing the study of philology, the content of the text was conducted to find out more the contents of the manuscript. Based on the analysis that has been done, the results of the text criticism obtained for categories of emendation. These for emendations can occur because the writer / copyist is less thorough or the writer / copyist writes what it is according to the source script (Pegon Alphabet). As for omissions and additions not found in the text of "Melak Paré". It can be said that "Melak Paré" was a text written / copied by a careful copyist. This research is expected to provide benefits to the wider community.
