    Abstract

    Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah motivasi dan partisipasi merupakan faktor sumber penggerak dan pendorong yang bersifat dinamik, keterbatasan pengetahuan guru akan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi dan partisipasi siswa dalam ekstrakurikuler futsal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMAN 1 Cikarang Utara yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal, dengan menggunanakan teknik purposive sampling ditentukan 50 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Nilai siswa putra yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal memiliki rata-rata nilai motivasi 74,4 % dan memiliki rata-rata nilai partisipasi 71%. (2) Nilai siswa putri yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal memiliki rata-rata nilai motivasi 79,2 % dan memiliki rata-rata nilai partisipasi 80,7 %. (3) Secara keseluruhan nilai siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal memiliki rata-rata nilai motivasi 75,4 % dan memiliki rata-rata nilai partisipasi 73,1 %.----------The background of this research is the students motivation and the participation is the source factor of an activator and catalyst that is dynamic, the limitations of teachers’ knowledge about students motivation and participation to attend extracurricular futsal activities. This research aims to find out the students motivation and participation in Futsal extracurricular. The method is used in descriptive research. The research population was students’ of SMAN 1 Cikarang Utara which follow the futsal extracurricular activities. By using purposive sampling technique there were 50 students. The research results showed that: (1)The score of male students' which follows extracurricular activities has an average value of motivation at 74.4% and has an average rating of participation of 71%. (2)The score of the female students, which follows the futsal extracurricular activities has an average score of motivation at79.2% and has an average rating of participation at 80.7%. (3) An overall score of students who follow the futsal extracurricular activities has an average score of motivation at 75.4% and has an average rating of participation at 73.1%.
