Abstract

Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Tahun 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh desain interior di Perpustakaan DISPUSIPDA Jawa Barat terhadap minat kunjung pemustakanya berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi desain interior yaitu, pencahayaan, tata letak perabot (furniture), sirkulasi udara dan pola warna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket yang validitasnya di nilai oleh tiga ahli di bidang desain interior, perpustakaan dan desain interior perpustakaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling, dengan cara memilih langsung pengunjung di Perpustakaan DISPUSIPDA Jawa Barat sebagai responden angket penelitian sesuai dengan kriteria responden yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara desain interior dengan minat kunjung pemustaka. pengaruh tersebut dikategorikan kuat dan respon dari pemustaka termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh antara desain interior terhadap minat kunjung pemustaka di Perpustakaan Umum DISPUSIPDA Jawa Barat. Adapun rekomendasi yang peneliti berikan adalah sebagai berikut . 1) untuk tata letak perpustakaan untuk pengawasannya, masih banyak spot spot yang tidak terlihat sehingga memungkinkan pemustaka melakukan hal-hal diluar tata tertib yang berlaku di perpustakaan. Seperti misalnya pencurian, penyobekan. 2) Penggunaan lantai Karpet berwarna gelap membuat pencahayaan diruangan tersebut akan terkesan gelap. Sebaiknya menggunakan lantai karpet berwarna cerah dan tidak memantulkan cahaya dari jendela, penggunaan lantai berwarna cerah akan membuat kesan ruangan tidak terasa gelap. ------------ The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence the interior design in Library DISPUSIPDA West Java to the interests of visit pemustakanya based on aspects that affect the interior design, lighting, furniture layout, air circulation and color patterns. The research method used in this research is descriptive correlational research method with quantitative approach. The instrument used is a questionnaire whose validity is rated by three experts in the field of interior design, library and interior design of the library. Sampling technique using random sampling, by selecting direct visitors in Library DISPUSIPDA West Java as respondents questionnaire in accordance with the criteria of respondents who have been determined. Based on the results of the study there is a significant influence between the interior design with interest visit pemustaka. The effect is strongly categorized and the responses of the pemustaka fall into either category. This shows that there is influence between interior design to interest visit pemustaka at DISPUSIPDA Public Library of West Java. The recommendations that researchers provide are as follows. 1) for the layout of the library for its supervision, there are still many spot spots that are not visible so as to enable the user to do things beyond the rules that apply in the library. Such as theft, tearing. 2) Use of the floor Dark carpets make lighting in the room will be dark impressed. We recommend using brightly colored floor carpet and do not reflect light from the window, the use of brightly colored floor will make the impression of the room does not feel dark
