Abstract
Penelitian ini menggambarkan kecenderungan karir siswa di sekolah menengah atas di SMA Negeri 13 Garut, dengan memaparkan mengenai gambaran umum kematangan karir siswa Kelas X dan XI SMA Negri 13 Garut Dan implikasinya dalam program layanan dasar bimbingan karir tujuan akhir penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran umum kematangan karir peserta didik. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Deskritif. Sampel penelitian seluruh siswa Kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 13 Garut hasil penelitian (1) gambaran ketegori kematangan karir siswa kelas X dan XI (2) gambaran kematangan karir siswa berdasarkan dimensi concern,curiousity,confidence, dan concultation, berada dalam kategori tidak matang (3) gambaran kecenderungan umum karir siswa dapat dijadikan landasan penyusunan layanan dasar bimbingan karir SMA Negeri 13 Garut. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah (a) Pihak sekolah mengevaluasi memfasilitasi intervensi untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa (b) Guru bimbingan konseling perlu memverivikasi secara menyeluruh profil kematangan karir siswa pada setiap jenjang tahun akademik sebagai hasil analisis kebutuhan penunjang, (c) guru BK hendaknya membuat dan melaksanakan program khusus dalam layanan dasar bimbingan karir berkaitan dengan upaya peningkatan pem, Buatan keputusan karir siswa (d) Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan untuk melakukan uji coba secara empiris program bimbingan karir berdasarkan kecenderungan umum kematangan karir sebagaimana yang di ukur dengan CMI Caeer Maturiy Inventory.----------- This study illustrates the trend of career students in high school at SMA Negeri 13 Garut, by describing the general view of career maturity of students of Class X and XI SMA Negeri 13 Garut and the implication in the basic service program career guidance final goal is to know the general view of career maturity learners. The research design uses quantitative approach with descriptive method. The sample of this research is all students of Class X and XI SMA Negeri 13 Garut. result of research (1) description of category of career maturity of students of class X and XI (2) the view of student's career maturity based on dimension of concern, curiosity, confidence, and consultation, 3) description of the general trend of students career can be used as the foundation of the preparation of basic services career in SMA Negeri 13 Garut. The recommendations of this study are: (a) School parties evaluate facilitating interventions to improve students' career maturity (b) Counseling teachers need to thoroughly verify the career maturity profile of students at each academic year as a result of support needs analysis; (c) BK teachers should create and implement a special program in the basic services of career guidance related to the improvement of the student’ artifical career decision of the student (d) Further research is expected to test empirically a career counseling program based on the general trend of career maturity as measured by CMI Career Maturity Inventory
