Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai kinerja pegawai. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai yaitu remunerasi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pengaruh remunerasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu remunerasi (Varibel X) yang terdiri dari lima indikator yaitu; (1) pengalaman dan masa kerja, (2) keterampilan, ilmu pengetahuan dan perilaku, (3) jabatan yang disandang, (4) hasil/capaian kinerja, (5) adil. Kemudian kinerja pegawai (Variabel Y) yang terdiri dari delapan indikator yaitu; (1) kuantitas kerja, (2) kualitas kerja, (3) pengetahuan atas pekerjaan, (4) kreativitas, (5) kerjasama, (6) kesadaran diri, (7) inisiatif, (8) kualitas pribadi. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat Bagian Umum dan Kepegawaian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket, yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, implementasi remunerasi pada Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat berada pada kaegori baik. Skor tertinggi berada pada indikator hasil/capaian kinerja. Sementara itu untuk kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat juga masuk dalam kategori baik. Skor tertinggi berada pada indikator kerjasama. Dari keseluruhan didapat implementasi remunerasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat.----------This research was conducted in the Education Department of West Java Province. The problem of the study in this study is about the employees’ performance. The core of the study focused on one of the factors that affect employee performance is remuneration. Based on the above, the main problem that is disclosed in this research is the extent of the effect of remuneration on employee performance. The study consists of two variables: the remuneration (variable X) which is comprised of five indicators, namely; (1) experience and years of service, (2) skills, science and behavior, (3) positions held, (4) performance outcomes, (5) fair. Then the performance of employees (Variable Y) consisting of eight indicators namely; (1) quantity of work, (2) quality of work, (3) knowledge of work, (4) creativity, (5) cooperation, (6) self-awareness, (7) initiative, (8) personal qualities. The total of the respondents in this study are 50 employees of general and staff division of education department west java province. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. Data retrieval technique is done by spreading the questionnaire, and then analyzed with simple analysis. Based on the results of the research, the implementation of remuneration at the Education Department of West Java province is in good category. The highest score is on the performance results / performance indicators. Meanwhile, for the performance of employees in the education department west java province also fall into either category. The highest score is on the indicator of cooperation. From the total, the implementation of remuneration has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees in the Education Department of West Java Province.
