Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta yang terjadi di lapangan, bahwa kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi peserta didik masih banyak yang berada di bawah KKM mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini diujicobakan model pembelajaran two-stay two-stray berbantuan media video dokumenter. Model pembelajaran ini adalah model pembelajaran dua tinggal dua tamu. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan model two-stay two-stray berbantuan media video dokumenter dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model tersebut. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 15 Bandung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah 60 orang yang terbagi menjadi 30 peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan 30 peserta didik pada kelas kontrol yang diperoleh tidak secara acak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Hasil pretest di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 70,03 sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata nilai 68,80. Hasil postest di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 76, 59,sedangkan kelas kontrol menunjukan rata-rata nilai 72, 22. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh asymp sign2 tailed (0,00) < signifikansi (0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa H0 atau hipotesis nol ditolak yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan peserta didik dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model two-stay two-stray berbantuan media video dokumenter. Model two-stay two-stray berbantuan media video dokumenter terbukti efektif dalam proses pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi.----------- This research is motivated by facts that occur in the field, that the ability to write text reports of observation results of learners are still many who are under the KKM subjects Bahasa Indonesia. In this experiment, we tested two-way two-stray instructional model with documentary video media. This learning model is a two learning model living two guests. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a significant difference between the experimental class that the learning process uses two-way two-stray model supported by documentary video media and control class that does not use the model. The sample in this study is the students of class VII SMPN 15 Bandung in the academic year 2017/2018 with the number of 60 people divided into 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class obtained not randomly. This research method using quasi experiment method with research design nonequivalent control group design. The pretest result in the experimental class shows an average score of 70.03 while the control class with an average value of 68.80. The result of posttest in the experimental class shows the average value of 76, 59, while the control class shows the average value of 72, 22. Based on hypothesis test results obtained asymp sign2 tailed (0.00) <significance (0.05) indicating that H0 or the null hypothesis is rejected, which means that there is a significant difference in the learner's ability to write the text of the observation report before and after the application of the two-way two-stray model supported by the documentary video media. Two-way two-stray model with documentary video-aid proven effective in learning process of writing text of observation result report.
