    Abstract

    Ketunagrahita membawa dampak pada aspek perkembangan kognitif salah satunya
    kemampuan berhitung. Hambatan dalam berhitung diantaranya disebabkan karena anak
    tunagrahita mengalami kesulitan dalam menerima informasi terutama informasi yang abstrak.
    Dalam pembelajaran media sangat dibutuhkan untuk membuat materi pembelajaran yang
    abstrak menjadi lebih konkrit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh
    media kantung bilangan terhadap pemahaman operasi hitung penjumlahan yang hasilnya
    maksimal sampai 10 pada anak tunagrahita ringan kelas III di SPLB-C YPLB Cipaganti
    Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode
    Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Subjek penelitian ini adalah R anak
    tunagrahita ringan yang belum memahami operasi hitung penjumlahan. Setelah dilakukan
    analisis data secara keseluruhan, diproleh mean level fase baseline 1 (A1) pada subjek R 0%,
    mean level fase intervensi (B) sebesar 50% dan mean leve fase baseline 2 (A2) sebesar 50%.
    Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kantung bilangan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan
    operasi hitung penjumlahan yang hasilnya maksimal sampai 10. Namun peneliti
    merekomendasikan bagi peneliti selanjutnya supaya tidak terfokus pada satu subjek tapi
    lakukan dengan beberapa subjek, hal ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh
    penggunaan media kantung bilangan beberapa subjek yang satu sama lainnya memiliki
    karakteristik dan kemampuan yang berbeda-beda.----------Mental retardation brings impact on aspects of cognitive development one of the
    ability to count. Obstacles in counting is caused by the child's Mental retardation have
    difficulty in receiving information, especially abstract information. So in the learning, media
    is needed to make the abstract learning material becomes more concrete. The purpose of this
    study was to determine the effect of quantum bag media on the understanding of the sum
    arithmetic operation that resulted maximum up to 10 in the mild grade tunagrahita children in
    SPLB-C YPLB Cipaganti Bandung. This research uses quantitative approach using Single
    Subject Research (SSR) method with A-B-A design. The subjects of this study were R mildly
    tunagrahita children who did not understand the sum arithmetic operation. After analyzing
    the data as a whole, the mean phase level of baseline 1 (A1) on subject R 0%, mean of phase
    intervention level (B) was 50% and mean phase 2 baseline 2 (A2) was 50%. Then it can be
    concluded that the media bag of numbers have an effect on the ability of the counting
    operation summing the results up to 10 subjects that have been studied. However, the
    researcher recommends for the next researcher not to focus on one subject but do with some
    subjects, it is aimed to compare the effect of media usage of the number of pockets of
    subjects with each other having different characteristics and abilities.
