    Abstract

    Penyusunan Tugas Akhir (TA) ini bertujuan untuk pembuat sebuah alat bantu pengelasan pipa dengan posisi pengelasan 1G, 2G, dan 6G, yang belum terlaksana di workshop FPTK UPI, serta untuk memperoleh gambaran nyata tentang waktu dan biaya yang dibutuhkan dalam pembuatan kontruksi alat bantu pengelasan pipa. Pembuatan kontruksi ini menggunkan bahan ST37. Proses pembuatan komponen ini dilakukan melalui: 1) Proses hand grinding; 2) Proses drilling; 3) Proses las SMAW. Secara teoritis waktu yang dibutuhkan 3,46jam dengan total biaya Rp. 598.200,00 (termasuk biaya material). Adapun secara realistis waktu yang diperlukan adalah 5,38 jam dengan total biaya Rp. 704.000,00 (termasuk biaya material).--------------
    This Final Project (TA) is aimed at creating a pipe welding tool with 1G, 2G, and 6G welding position, which has not been done in UPI FPTK workshop, and to get a real picture about the time and cost required in making the construction of welding aids pipe. Making this construction using ST37 material. The process of making this component is done through: 1) Hand grinding process; 2) Drilling process; 3) SMAW welding process. Theoretically the time required 3.46jam with total cost Rp. 598.200,00 (including material costs). The realistic time required is 5.38 hours with a total cost of Rp. 704,000.00 (including material cost).
