    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menguji pengaruh income smoothing terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan target omzet penjualan sebagai variabel intervening pada distributor-distributor PT Jico Agung (Miwon) Wilayah Jawa Barat. Sampel penelitian diambil atas dasar purposive sampling. Kriteria sampel yang memenuhi sebanyak 11 perusahaan. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis path (jalur). Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa income smoothing berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan nilai –(thitung) sebesar -2.310 < –(t-tabel) sebesar -1.729 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0.002 < 0.05. income smoothing tidak berpengaruh terhadap target omzet penjualan dengan nilai –(t-hitung) sebesar -0.547 > –(t-tabel) sebesar -1.729 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0.585 > 0.05. target omzet penjualan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan nilai –(t-hitung) sebesar -5.553 < –(t-tabel) sebesar -1.729 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. dan income smoothing berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan melalui target omzet penjualan dengan hasil uji sobel test –(t-hitung) sebesar -2.575 < -(t-tabel) sebesar -1.729.----------This research was conducted to test the influence of income smoothing towards company performance with sales turnover target as an intervening variable at PT. Jico Agung (Miwon) distributors in West Java region. The purposive samples used in the research that research that 11 companies. Path analysis used in data reserach, that show income smoothing effect on the company’s performance –(t-count) of -2,310 < -(t-table) of -1,729. Income smoothing does not affect the sales turnover target –(t-count) of -0547 > -(ttable) of -1,729. income smoothing effect on the company’s performance through the sales turnover target by sobel test –(t-count) of -2,575 < -(t-table) of -1,729.
