Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menggambarkan nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerpen; (2) menggambarkan kesesuaian cerpen dengan kriteria pemilihan bahan ajar pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA; (3) membuat rancangan bahan pembelajaran nilai moral dan pendidikan karakter dari cerpen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif.Sumber data berupa cerpen terbaik Kompas 2011.Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar analisi dokumen, terutama menganalisi isi, keberadaan pola penyampaian pendidikan karakter dan kesesuaian dengan criteria bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian ini berupa: (1) nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerpen yaitu: religious, displin, bersabata/komunikatif, cinta damai, kerja keras dan peduli sosial; (2) cerpen sesuai dengan criteria, terutama kriteri bahasa, pendidikan, social budaya dan psikologis; (3) rancangan bahan ajar pendidikan karakter dari cerpen memiliki komponen seperti: judul, isi, petunjuk kerja dan evaluasi. Kata kunci: cerpen, pendidikan karakter, bahan pembelajaran, apresisasi sastra;--- This study aims to: (1) describe the moral values contained in the short story; (2) describes the suitability of short stories with the criteria for selecting teaching materials Indonesian language learning in high school; and (3) developing learning materials moral values and character education of short stories. This research uses descriptive method. Sources of data is some the best short stories fromKompas 2011. Collecting data using analysis of documents, mainly analyzed the contents, the presence of a character education delivery and compliance with the criteria of teaching materials. The results of this study are: (1) moral values contained in the short story is: religious, discipline, friendly / communicative, peace-loving, hard working and social care; (2) short stories in accordance with the criteria, particularly criterion of language, education, socio-cultural and psychological; (3) the design of teaching materials from a short story character education has components such as: title, content, work instructions, and evaluation Keywords: short story, character education, learning materials, appreciation of literature
