Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai standar keselamatan kerja industri pada mata pelajaran pengecatan bodi di SMK. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada pembelajaran pengecatan bodi di SMK adalah adanya kecelakaan kerja siswa. kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi antara lain terjadinya gangguan pernafasan akibat pengecatan. Pelajaran pengecatan bodi di sekolah seharusnya menerapkan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di industri. K3 bodi otomotif meliputi empat aspek yaitu keselamatan operator, keselamatan mesin, keselamatan alat pendukung, keselamatan benda kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan penerapan standar K3 industri pada mata pelajaran pengecatan bodi di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK 8 Bandung. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI paket keahlian Teknik Perbaikan Bodi Otomotif (TPBO) yang berjumlah 28 orang. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan, penerapan standar K3 industri pada mata pelajaran pengecatan bodi di SMKN 8 hasilnya berada pada kriteria aman, kriteria aman tersebut meliputi aspek keselamatan kerja, keselamatan mesin, keselamatan benda kerja, untuk aspek keselamatan alat kerja berada pada kriteria sangat aman. Pembelajaran di SMK seharusnya perlu menerapkan K3 terutama pada saat melakukan praktik disekolah. Penerapan K3 di sekolah akan memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan siswa dan berdampak pula pada aspek keselamatan peserta didik itu sendiri.;---This research is motivated by problems about industrial safety standards on body painting subjects in SMK. Problems that occur in body painting learning in SMK is the existence of student work accidents. Working accidents that occur, among others, the occurrence of respiratory problems due to painting. Body painting lessons at school should apply Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in the industry. K3 automotive body covers four aspects of operator safety, engine safety, safety support tools, and workpiece safety. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of Industrial Safety Standard on body painting subjects in SMK. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. The population of this research is students of SMK 8 Bandung. The sample of the research is the students of XI class of expertise package of Automotive Body Repair Technique (TPBO) which amounted to 28 people. Based on the findings and discussion, the application of industrial safety standards on body painting subjects in SMKN 8 results are in safe criteria, safe criteria include aspects of occupational safety, machine safety, workpiece safety, for safety aspects of the work tool are at very safe criteria. Learning in SMK should be necessary to apply K3 especially when doing school practice. The implementation of K3 in schools will have a positive impact on student development and also affect the safety aspect of the students themselves.
