Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil berbagai penelitian, buah naga merah (Hylocerus polyrhizus) dipercaya memiliki macam khasiat pada bidang kesehatan. Buah naga merah juga diketahui memiliki kandungan senyawa antioksidan yang dapat mengatasi berbagai penyakit, seperti kanker, hiperlipidemia, hiperglikemia, dan fertilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jus buah naga merah terhadap aspek reproduksi seperti jumlah folikel primer, sekunder, tersier pada ovarium dan berat uterus, ketebalan lapisan endometrium pada uterus mencit (Mus musculus) betina. Jus buah naga merah diberikan secara oral menggunakan jarum gavage setiap hari dengan dosis 0 %/kg BB, 50 %/kg BB, 75 %/kg BB, dan 100% pada enam mencit untuk setiap dosisnya selama 30 hari. Pengambilan organ ovarium dan uterus diambil pada saat mencit memasuki fase estrus. Pemeriksaan fase estrus dilakukan dengan membuat apusan vagina mencit. Analisis jumlah folikel ovarium dan ketebalan lapisan endometrium uterus dilakukan dengan membuat preparat histologi organ ovarium dan uterus. Hasil pengamatan pengaruh pemberian jus buah naga merah terhadap jumlah folikel primer, sekunder maupun tersier jumlahnya secara signifikan (p<0,05) meningkat sejalan dengan bertambah besarnya dosis buah naga yang diberikan. Jumlah korpus luteum terjadi peningkatan namun tidak terjadi secara signifikan (p>0,05). Pada organ uterus ketebalan lapisan endometrium dan berat uterus secara signifikan (p<0,05) meningkat sejalan dengan bertambah besarnya dosis buah naga yang diberikan. Dosis 100 % dianggap sebagai dosis yang paling efisien dalam mempengaruhi aspek reproduksi betina, hal ini dikarenakan jumlah folikel, dan ketebalan endometrium pada uterus memiliki perbedaan signifikansi yang besar jika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Jus buah naga merah berpengaruh terhadap jumlah folikel primer, sekunder, tersier, berat uterus, dan ketebalan endometrium mencit (Mus musculus).;--- Based on the results of various studies, red dragon fruit (Hylocerus polyrhizus) is believed to have a variety of efficacy in the field of health. Red dragon fruit is also known to contain antioxidant compounds that can overcome various diseases, such as cancer, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, and fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of red dragon fruit juice on the reproductive aspects such as the number of primary, secondary, tertiary follicles in the ovaries and the weight of the uterus, the thickness of the endometrial lining of the female mice (Mus musculus). Red dragon fruit juice is administered orally using a daily gavage needle at 0% / kg BW, 50% / kg BW, 75% / kg BW, and 100% at six mice for each dose in 30 days. Intake of ovarian and uterine organs was taken when the mice enter the estrus phase. Estrus phase examination was done by making a vaginal smear of mice. Analysis of the number of ovarian follicles and the thickness of the uterine endometrium layer is done by making the histologic preparations of the ovaries and uterine organs. The observation of the effect of red dragon fruit juice on the number of primary, secondary and tertiary follicles significantly (p <0.05) increased in line with the increased dose of dragon fruit. The number of corpus luteum increased but did not occur significantly (p> 0.05). In the uterine organ the thickness of the endometrial layer and the uterine weight significantly (p <0.05) increases as the dose of the given dragon fruit increases. 100% dose was considered the most efficient dose in affecting the female reproductive aspect, this is because the number of follicles, and the thickness of the endometrium in the uterus have a significant difference of significance when compared to the control group. Red dragon fruit juice affects the number of primary, secondary, tertiary, uterine, and endometrial thicknesses of mice (Mus musculus).
