Abstract
Sportainment adalah cara untuk mengetahui segala pembaruan dalam dunia olahraga, dan merupakan penggabungan antara olaharaga dengan hiburan Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mengetahui bagaimana minat mahasiswa FPOK, 2) Mengetahui Bagaimana kecenderungan mahasiswa FPOK dalam memilih berita dan informasi sportainment. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif, yaitu penelitian yang berusaha menggambarkan atau melukiskan objek-objek yang diteliti berdasarkan fakta yang ada di lapangan minat mahasiswa FPOK terhadap sportainment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terdapat gambaran besarnya presentase minat yang sangat rendah sebesar 27% dan minat sangat tinggi sebesar 37% artinya mahasiswa FPOK UPI memiliki minat yang sangat tinggi terhadap sportainment. Kecenderungan pemilihan berita olahraga adalah berita mengenai cabang olahraga adalah cabang olahraga sepak bola. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan olahraga positif terhadap dunia olahraga pada umumnya dan khususnya kepada para akademisi keolahragaan. Selain itu juga diharapkan melalui penelitian ini menambah pengetahuan akademisi olahraga dan jurnalis olahraga akan menjadi bahan pertimbangan sebagai profesi lulusan FPOK. ;---Sportainment are the way to see all about updated in sport, and it is the kind which combine between sport and entertainment. The purpose of this research is to: 1) Know how FPOK student's interest, towards Sportainmet 2) Know How FPOK student tendency in choosing news and information sportainment. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research method, that is research that try to describe or describe the objects being studied based on facts that exist in the field of interest of FPOK students to sportainment. Based on the results of research that has been done, there is a description of the percentage of interest is very low by 27% and very high interest of 37% it means FPOK UPI students have a very high interest in sportainment. The trend of sports news election is news about the sport is the sport of football. The results of this study are expected to provide positive sports input to the world of sports in general and especially to the academics of sports. It is also expected through this research to increase the knowledge of sports academics and sports journalists will be a consideration as a profession of FPOK graduates.
