Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat mahasiswa kerjasama Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI yang tidak berminat menjadi guru teknik padahal mahasiswa kerjasama Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI diwajibkan untuk menjadi guru teknik di daerah asal setelah lulus dari UPI. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya minat mahasiswa kerjasama Pemerintah Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI untuk menjadi guru teknik dan mengetahui faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa kerjasama Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI berminat dan tidak berminat menjadi guru teknik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa FPTK kerjasama Pemerintah Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa 1) Mahasiswa kerjasama Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI, lebih dari setengahnya berminat menjadi guru teknik. 2) Mahasiswa kerjasama Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI yang berminat menjadi guru teknik, penyebab utamanya adalah faktor internal dan penyebab lainnya adalah faktor eksternal. 3) Mahasiswa kerjasama Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan UPI yang tidak berminat menjadi guru teknik, penyebab utamanya adalah faktor internal dan penyebab lainnya adalah faktor eksternal. Kata Kunci : Minat, Guru Teknik, Mahasiswa Kerjasama The problem in this research is there is a student of South Sumatera Provincial Government cooperation with UPI who is not interested to be a vocational teacher although the cooperation student of South Sumatera Provincial Government with UPI is obliged to become vocational teacher in origin area after graduated from UPI. Therefore this study aims to determine the amount of interest of the South Sumatra Government cooperation with UPI to become a technical teacher and know the factors that cause students of cooperation South Sumatra Provincial Government with UPI interested and not interested in becoming a technical teacher. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach and data collection technique through questionnaire. Population in this research is FPTK student of South Sumatera Government cooperation with UPI and sampling technique using purposive sampling method. Based on the result of the research, 1) Students of South Sumatera Provincial Government cooperation with UPI, more than half of them are interested in becoming vocational teachers. 2) Students of South Sumatra Provincial Government cooperation with UPI who are interested to become vocational teachers, the main cause is internal factors and other causes are external factors. 3) Students of South Sumatera Provincial Government cooperation with UPI who are not interested in becoming vocational teachers, the main cause is internal factors and other causes are external factors.
