Abstract
Salah satu tugas terpenting yang harus diselesaikan remaja ialah mempersiapkan pilihan dan membuat keputusan karir atau disebut kematangan karir. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bagaimana kesiapan remaja dalam menentukan pilihan pendidikan lanjutan setelah lulus SMA yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kematangan karir remaja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deksriptif dengan desain penelitian survei dan pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap 761 orang peserta didik kelas XII SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Bangka yang menggunakan cluster random sampling. Data diungkap menggunakan instrumen yang diadaptasi dari Career Maturity Inventory Form Counseling (CMI Form C) yang dikembangkan oleh Savickas dan Porfeli (2010) serta diolah secara statistik menggunakan analisis pemodelan Rasch. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kecenderungan kematangan karir peserta didik yang berada pada kategori sedang dan berimplikasi bagi layanan dasar bimbingan karir.;---One of the most important tasks that adolescents have to complete is to prepare choices and make career decisions or called career maturity. This research focuses on adolescents readiness in determining the choice of continuing education after graduated from high school, which aims at describing career maturity of adolescents. The research method used is descriptive with survey research design and quantitative approach conducted to 761 XII grade students of all State Senior High School in Bangka District who using cluster random sampling. Data revealed using the instrument was adapted from Career Maturity Inventory Form Counseling (CMI Form C) developed by Savickas and Porfeli (2010) and processed statistically using analysis Rasch model. The research resulted the tendency of career maturity of students in middle category and has implications for curriculum services.
