Abstract
Penelitian ini tentang “Kajian Learning Obstacle (Khususnya Hambatan Epistimologis) dan Repersonalisasi pada Materi Peluang di SMP”. Latar belakang penelitian ini diambil karena materi peluang terkandung dalam standar kompetensi dan kompetensi dasar materi matematika serta hasil penelitian Dayat dan Limbong tentang kesulitan yang dialami siswa SMA mempelajari materi peluang. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah learning obstacle (khususnya hambatan epistimologis) yang dihadapi siswa dalam mempelajari materi peluang di SMP. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Rangkaian penelitian ini dimulai dengan repersonalisasi pada materi peluang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji instrumen TKR dan wawancara. Setelah uji instrumen TKR dan wawancara dilaksanakan, diidentifikasi beberapa learning obstacle yang dialami siswa terkait materi peluang. Akhirnya, disusunlah suatu alternatif desain didaktis yang diharapkan mampu mengatasi learning obstacle yang telah teridentifikasi. Desain didaktis tersebut tidak sampai diimplementasikan kepada siswa, namun sudah disusun berdasarkan hasil repersonalisasi dan learning obstacle serta prediksi respon siswa. Kata kunci : Learning obstacle, hambatan epistimologis, peluang, repersonalisasi, desain didaktis. This study on "Assessment of Learning Obstacle (Particularly in Epistemological Obstacle) and Repersonalization on Probability Material in Junior High School". The background of this research is taken as the probability material contained in the standards of mathematics competence and basic competences, and research of Limbong and Dayat about the difficulties experienced by high school students to learn the probability material. The focus of this research is the problem in learning obstacle (particularly in epistemological obstacle) faced by students in learning the probability material in junior high. The approach used in this study is the qualitative approach. The series of this study began with repersonalization on material probability followed by TKR test instruments and interviews. After TKR test instruments and interviews conducted, identified some learning obstacles experienced by students related probability material. Finally, an expected alternative didactical design was composed to overcome the obstacle that has been identified. This didactical design is not to be implemented to the students, but it was designed based on the results of learning obstacle and repersonalization and prediction of student responses.
