Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMK PPN Tanjungsari lebih didominasi dengan metode ceramah yang mengakibatkan siswa merasa jenuh dan kurang aktif selama kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas serta lebih banyak mendapatkan teori daripada praktikum. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penerapan model Production Based Training (PBT) dengan media modul dan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan model tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) pada kelas X TPHP di SMK PPN Tanjungsari. Hasil penelitian penerapan model PBT dengan media modul ini didapatkan siswa melaksanakan kegiatan produksi dengan pembuatan nugget singkong dan kerupuk kulit singkong. Sintak model PBT yaitu (a) persiapan; (b) peragaan; (c) peniruan; (d) praktik; dan (e) evaluasi telah tercapai pada setiap siklus. Pada ranah kognitif terjadi peningkatan nilai pre test dan post test, nilai N-gain dan jumlah siswa tuntas mencapai KKM pada setiap siklus. Pada ranah afektif terjadi peningkatan sikap disiplin, peduli, responsif dan proaktif dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada ranah psikomotor siklus I terdapat 3 kelompok yang menempati kategori terampil dan 2 kelompok yang menempati kategori cukup terampil, kemudian pada siklus II seluruh kelompok menempati kategori sangat terampil. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan model PBT dengan media modul dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa baik pada ranah kognitif, afektif maupun psikomotor.;---The learning method in SMK PPN Tanjungsari mostly dominated by lecture method and caused the students feel saturated and less active during classroom learning activities as well as they get more the theory than the practicum. Beside of that the purpose of this research is describe the implementation of Production Based Training (PBT) model with module as media and to know student learning outcomes with the implementation of the model. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) on class X TPHP in SMK PPN Tanjungsari. The result of this research show that implementation of the PBT model with module as media support students to conduct production activities in making cassava nugget and cassava skin cracker. The syntax of PBT model were (a) preparation; (b) simulation; (c) impersonation; (d) practice; and (e) evaluation had been reached on every cycle. In the cognitive domain there is an increase of pre test and post test value, N-gain value and total students that reach KKM in every cycle. In the affective domain there is an increase in discipline, caring, responsive and proactive attitude from cycle I to cycle II. In the psychomotor domain cycle I there are 3 groups that occupy the skilled category and 2 groups that occupy the quite skilled category, then on cycle II the whole group occupies a highly skilled category. The conclusion of this research is the implementation of PBT model with module as media can improve student learning outcomes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains.
