Abstract
Penelitian disertasi ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih lemahnya program perkuliahan praktikum biokimia dalam mengakomodasi kreativitas mahasiswa. Idealnya perkuliahan praktikum yang diselenggarakan di perguruan tinggi memenuhi tuntutan Undang- undang No 12 tahun 2012 tentang Pendidikan Tinggi dan KKNI, yaitu membangun kreativitas mahasiswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program perkuliahan praktikum Biokimia berbasis proyek dengan material lokal (PjBLLM) yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan mixed method research dengan desain embedded experimental. Implementasi PjBLLM dilakukan pada mahasiswa perkuliahan praktikum Biokimia program studi Pendidikan Kimia semester 6 tahun 2015/2016 di salah satu Universitas Negeri Sumatera Selatan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan beberapa instrumen yaitu tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif, rubrik produk kreatif, lembar kerja mahasiswa, lembar observasi dan angket. Semua instrumen dan perangkat pembelajaran (silabus & SAP) divalidasi oleh pakar dan diuji coba keterlaksanaannya. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan telah diperoleh program perkuliahan praktikum Biokimia berbasis PjBLLM yang dilengkapi silabus, SAP, bahan ajar dan asesmen. Praktikum Biokimia PjBLLM mencerminkan pembelajaran dengan sintak yang membangun kreativitas mahasiswa meliputi keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan produk kreatif. Implementasi PjBLLM berdampak terhadap meningkatnya kreativitas mahasiswa pada kategori tinggi. Selain itu keterampilan berpikir kreatif berkontribusi positif terhadap kualitas produk kreatif yang dihasilkan. Mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap perkuliahan dan berpendapat perkuliahan praktikum Biokimia PJBLLM membuat lebih kreatif. ;---The research dissertation was done to overcome the weakness of students’ creativity in Biochemistry Practicum. Ideally, laboratory practises program at college has to accommodate the demands of Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education and KKNI; one of which is to build students' creativity. The purpose of this study was to develop a program of lectures Biochemistry lab-based projects with local materials (PjBLLM) that could enhance student creativity. The mixed method research with experimental embedded design was used in this study. Implementation PjBLLM was done involving students of Chemistry Education 6th semester 2015/2016 year in one State University South Sumatra. Data were collected using the instruments creative thinking skills test, creative product rubric, student worksheets, observation sheets and questionnaires. All the instruments and learning tools (syllabus & SAP) were validated by experts and the appropriateness of the program was tried out and implemented. Data were their analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Through the research Biochemistry Lab Practice Program based PjBLLM equipped syllabus, SAP, teaching materials and assessment. The PjBLLM reflected learning process with the syntax that builds students' creativity (creative thinking skills and creative product). The research on PjBLLM implementation shows that the program enhanced students’ creativity. The other results shows that creative thinking skills gave positive contribution to the quality of creative product of student. Student shows the positive respon to the lectures and argued that PjBLLM program make them more creative.
