Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X MIPA di SMAN 1 Dayeuhkolot tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dengan materi badan usaha dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes berbentuk uraian. Hipotesis diuji menggunakan uji parametrik yaitu uji Independent-Samples T Test dan Paired-Samples T Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (i) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen antara sebelum dan setelah perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri terbimbing pada materi badan usaha dalam perekonomian Indonesia, dengan peningkatan dalam kategori sedang. (ii) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah bervariasi. ;--- The problem in this research is the low of high order thinking skills of 10th grade MIPA students in SMAN 1 Dayeuhkolot academic year 2016/2017, which one is thinking critical skills. The purpose of this study is to determine the influences application of methods “guided inquiry” toward the students thinking critical skills in economics subject with the chapter is business entity in Indonesian economy. The research method that used is a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The research instrument that used is a description test. Hypothesis tested using parametric test which is Independent Samples T Test and Paired Samples T Test. The result showed : (i) There are differences in thinking analytical skills of students in the experiments class between before and after treatment using the methode “guided inquiry” with an increase in the medium category. (ii) There are differences in students critical thinking skills between experiments class that used the method "guided inquiry” with controls class that used lecture methods vary.
