Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sumedang yang dilihat dari nilai Ujian Nasional (UN) yang rendah pada Tahun 2015. Nilai rata-rata UN yang berada diatas 55 hanya 5 sekolah dari 15 sekolah yang ada. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey eksplanatory, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMANegeri se-Kabupaten Sumedang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 1549 siswa, dengan teknik Proportional Stratified Random Sampling, sample dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 192 responden. Data yang telah dikumpulkan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan sistem skoring dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gambaran kompetensi guru ekonomi di SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Sumedang berada pada ketegori tinggi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan pengaruh sebesar 25,5% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar variabel. Dengan demikian semakin tinggi kompetensi yang dimiliki guru, maka hasil belajar akan meningkat. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar guru terus meningkatkan kompetensinya sehingga siswa dapat mencapai hasil belajar yang diharapkan. ;--- This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of high school students in Kabupaten Sumedang which is seen from the low National Examination (UN) in 2015. The average grade of the National Examination which is above 55 is only 5 schools out of 15 schools in Kabupaten Sumedang. The aims of this study is to obtain the influences teacher competences to High School Students’ Economic Subjects Learning Outcomes. The method used in this study is explanatory survey. Explanatory survey is a study that takes a sample of a population and uses questionnaires or questionnaires as a means of collecting data. The population in this study are 1549 students of Grade XI Social class students of High Schools in Kabupaten Sumedang in the academic year 2016/2017 and sample of 391 respondents using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Multiple linear regression analysis is used as data analysis technique. The results showed that the economic teachers’ competence in Kabupaten Sumedang High Schools is in the high category. Hypothesis test results shows that the competence of teachers have a positive effect on student learning outcomes with the influence of 25,5% and the rest is influenced by other factors outside the variable. Thus, the higher the competence of the teacher, the learning outcomes will increase. Researchers recommends teachers to keep developing their competence, so that students are able to achieve the expected learning outcomes.
