Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam Program Pengembangan Sekolah (Program Belajar 4 Tahun) di SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi”. Penelitian ini di fokuskan pada fungsi manajeman yaitu POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuatng, Controlling) dalam impleentasi TQM pada program belajar 4 tahun, dengan demikian penelitian ini diakukan bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui (1) Perencanaan (planning) implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam program belajar 4 tahun di SMK N 1 Cimahi, (2) Pengorganisasian (organizing) implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam program belajar 4 tahun di SMK N 1 Cimahi, (3) Pelaksanaan (actuating) implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam program belajar 4 tahun di SMK N 1 Cimahi, (4) Pengawasan (controlling) implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam program belajar 4 tahun di SMK N 1 Cimahi, dan (5) Dampak yang dirasakan oleh sekolah dengan adanya implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam program belajar 4 tahun di SMK N 1 Cimahi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan data temuan penelitian selama dilapanga maka ksimpulannya adalah Semua kompetensi keahlian atau jurusan di SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi ini memiliki program belajar dengan durasi masa 4 tahun. Dengan mengimplementasikan TQM dalam program belajar 4 tahun tersebut dapat memberikan suatu nilai tambah bagi sekolah, khususnya di industri. Dan dengan menggunakan prinsip TQM disemua bidang maka diharapkan dapat sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan dari stake holder maupun customer.,---This research entitled "Implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in School Development Program (4th years Learning Program) at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi". This research focuses on the management function of POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuatng, Controlling) in TQM impleentation and 4th years program study, this research is aimed to know (1) Planning Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation of 4th years program study at SMK N 1 Cimahi, (2) Organizing Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation of 4th years program study at SMK N 1 Cimahi, (3) Actuation Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation of 4th years program study at SMK N 1 Cimahi, (4) Controlling Total Quality Management (TQM) implementation of 4th years program study at SMK N 1 Cimahi, and (5) Impact felt for school from implementation Total Quality Management (TQM) of 4th years program study at SMK N 1 Cimahi. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive approach. Techniques of methode finding data used from interviewed, observation, and study documentation. Based on the data of research findings during at field then the conclusion is All the competence of skills or majors at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi has a learning program with a duration of 4th years. Implementing TQM in the 4th years program study can provide an added value for schools, especially at industry. And by using the principle of TQM in all fields then expected to be in accordance with the needs and expectations of stake holders and customers.
