Abstract

Kemampuan siswa untuk memahami suatu konsep pembelajaran sangatlah berbeda. Terkadang ditemukan suatu pemahaman konsep yang salah dalam suatu konsep yang sering disebut miskonsepsi. Miskonsepsi pada siswa menjadi penting untuk ditanggulangi karena dapat menghambat proses penerimaan pengetahuan yang menyebabkan penguasaan konseptual siswa rendah. Pada penelitian ini digunakan instrumen tes Pilihan Ganda Tingkat Empat (Four-Tier Multiple Choice) pada 3 sekolah di kota Bandung yang dipilih berdasarkan nilai UN yang dipersyaratkan yang berguna untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi lebih mendalam di setiap jenjang kognitif siswa. Konsep-konsep pada soal tes four-tier dikembangkan berdasarkan silabus Biologi Kurikulum 2013 tentang sistem pencernaan manusia dan beberapa buku teks Biologi yang serupa. Selanjutnya data hasil tes ini dikonfirmasi melalui wawancra guru dan siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 72,22% siswa mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep sistem pencernaan manusia. Konsep tentang hubungan struktur dan fungsi, struktur dan bioproses, fungsi dan gangguan, bioproses dan penyakit pada sistem pencernaan manusia terdeteksi miskonsepsi dengan persentase miskonsepsi tertinggi tentang konsep tentang hubungan struktur dan bioproses sebesar 36,11% artinya sebanyak 39 siswa dari 108 siswa terindikasi miskonsepsi. Karakteristik miskonsepsi di SMA A memiliki miskonsepsi tertinggi tentang hubungan struktur dan bioproses di lambung, SMA B miskonsepsi tertinggi pada hubungan struktur dan fungsi kantung empedu sedangkan SMA C tentang bioproses pencernaan protein secara kimiawi di mulut dan duodenum. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan gambaran miskonsepsi di setiap sekolah dan konsep-konsep pada sistem pencernaan yang terdeteksi miskonsepsi. ;---Students’s ability to understand a concept is extremely different. Sometimes students make a mistake to understand the concept, that can be called misconception. Students’s misconception is very important to coped because it can be obstruct the process of acceptance which is induce students conceptual mastery. This study, used Four-Tier Multiple Choice for three schools in different school based on UN passing grade. That is useful to identify students’s misconception depply. Concept on four-tier test are developed, based on the 2013 curriculum biology syllabus of the human digestive system and similar Biological textbooks. Furthermore, the test result was confirmed through teacher and student interviews. The result from this method found that 72.22% students have misconception in human digestive system. There is misconception in concept of relative structure and function, structure and bioprocess, function and disturbance, bioprocess and disease and disturbance of digestive system in human. There is the highest concept misconception is relation between structure and bioprocess on the human digestive system is 36.11% means 39 of 108 students indicated misconception. The characteristic misconception in highschool A is about the relative between structure and bioprocess in stomach, the relative structuce and function of gall bladder in highschool B and chemical digestive of protein in mouth and duodenum in highschool C. This study can illustrate the student’s misconception in each school and the concept in digestive system are detected misconception.
