Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi yang ditandai dengan kurangnya antusiasme siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi. Salah satu metode yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yaitu metode pembelajaran role playing dan metode pembelajaran think pair and share. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran role playing dan metode pembelajaran thin piar and share. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen serta subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 19 Bandung. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 3 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen 1 dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran role playing, kelas eksperimen 2 dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran think pair and share, dan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar di kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2 mengalami peningkatan. Namun, jika di bandingkan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen 1 lebih baik dari kelas ekperimen 2. Dengan demikian metode pembelajaran role playing dan think pair and share memiliki efektifitas yang baik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rekomendasi ditunjukan untuk guru sebagai alternative untuk diterapkan pada kegiatan pembelajaran. ;---This event will be based on research by the low interest student learning on subjects of Sociology which is characterized by the lack of enthusiasm of the students in the learning process. This has resulted in low student learning results on subjects of sociology. One of the methods that can improve student learning outcomes i.e. learning methods role playing and learning methods think pair and share. The purpose of this research is to know the results of the comparison of student learning by using learning methods role playing and learning methods thin piar and share. This research uses a quantitative approach with quasi experimental research design as well as the subject of this research is the grade XI IPS SMAN 19 Bandung. In this study using 3 classes, namely class 1 experiment by using learning methods role playing, class 2 experiments using learning methods think pair and share, and grade control by using conventional methods. Data collection performed by the researchers, namely observation, documentation, and test. The findings of the research showed that the results of the study in the classroom experiment 1 and experiment 2 classes has increased. However, if compared the results of the study on the experimental class 1 a class wants better than the 2. Thus learning methods role playing and think pair share and have a good effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. Recommendations shown for teachers as alternative to applied learning activities.
