Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saat ini semakin pesat dengan munculnya game online yang berdampak negatif terhadap remaja. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran umum tentang kecenderungan bermain game online berdasarkan pada aspek yang terdapat dalam game online. Disain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah disain penelitian survei dengan metode survei deskriptif dan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 331 orang siswa, dan menggunakan seluruh populasi siswa dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran instrumen berupa angket mengenai kebiasaan bermain game online siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran kebiasaan bermain game online siswa secara keseluruhan berada dalam kategori sedang yang artinya siswa masih memiliki keinginan bermain yang cukup tinggi. Artinya siswa memerlukan program bimbingan dan konseling untuk mereduksi kebiasaan bermain game online siswa ke kategori yang rendah. Rekomendasi penelitian ditunjukan kepada pihak sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling serta peneliti selanjutnya. ` `

The development of knowledge and tech is more faster with Online Games that impact the teenagers life with negative side. The purpose of this research is to determine the general idea of playing online games contained on aspects game itself. This research is design using descriptive survey method and quantitative approach. The population of this research is using 331 students or sample and use all of the populations or well known as total sampling. Data obtained through questionnaires regarding gaming online habits at the students. The result is showed the gaming online habits of the students is in the mid category, its mean the student is desire to play games at the high level. Some students need a guidance to reduce the habits to the lower category. The recommendation this research is for the school, the counselor and for the further researcher.
