Abstract

Dago Endah Golf Course merupakan salah satu Golf Club tertua di Indonesia, Golf
Club yang berada di Kota Bandung ini dibangun pada tahun 1917 menjadikan Dago
Endah Golf Course memiliki potensi yang besar dalam wisata olahraga golf.
Meskipun demikian, pada tahun 2011 Dago Endah Golf Course mengalami
penurunan jumlah kunjungan sebesar 32,03%. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh golf travel motivation terhadap sport
decision di Dago Endah Golf Course. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak
100 partisipan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verivikatif
dengan waktu penelitian kurang dari satu tahun (cross-sectional method). Teknik
analisis data yang digunakan adalah systematic random sampling. Teknis analisis
data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis linear berganda. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa golf travel motivation berada pada posisi kategori tinggi,
sedangkan sport decision berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Golf travel motivation
terdiri dari business opportunities, benefits, learning and challenging, escape/relax,
dan social interaction/kinship factors. Secara simultan golf travel motivation
berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sport decision. Sedangkan secara parsial
terdapat empat sub variable yaitu business opportunities, benefits, learning and
challenging, dan social interaction berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sport decision.----------Dago Endah Golf Course is one of Indonesia's oldest Golf Club, Golf Club is
located in the city of Bandung was built in 1917 to make Dago Endah Golf Course
has a great potential in the sport of golf travel. Nonetheless, in 2011 Dago Endah
Golf Course has decreased the number of visits by 32.03%. Therefore, this study
aimed to determine the effect of motivation on the sport of golf travel decision in
Dago Endah Golf Course. The sample in this study were 100 participants. The
method used is descriptive method and Verivikatif with a time less than one year
study (cross-sectional method). Data analysis technique used is systematic random
sampling. Technical analysis of the data used is multiple linear analysis techniques.
The results showed that the golf travel motivation are at the high category, while
the decision is in the category of sport is very high. Golf travel motivation consists
of business opportunities, benefits, learning and challenging, escape / relax, and
social interaction / kinship factors. Simultaneously golf travel motivation
significantly influence decision sport. Partially, there are four sub variables are
business opportunities, benefits, learning and challenging, and social interaction
significant effect on sports decision.
