Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan sistem layanan tertutup pada layanan laporan akhir, skripsi dan tesis Perpustakaan IPDN. Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana hubungan persepsi pemustaka tentang sistem layanan tertutup dengan pemanfaatan layanan perpustakaan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket dan studi dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh Praja Tingkat Akhir yang berkunjung ke titik layanan laporan akhir, skripsi dan tesis Perpustakaan IPDN, dengan sampel sebesar 96 orang. Pengolahan data menggunakan korelasi dari Rank Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi pemustaka tentang sistem layanan tertutup dengan pemanfaatan layanan perpustakaan dengan tingkat korelasi berada pada kategori sangat kuat dan signifikan, secara garis besar persepsi pemustaka tentang sistem layanan tertutup termasuk pada kategori sangat baik, pemanfaatan layanan perpustakaan termasuk pada kategori baik, besarnya persepsi pemustaka tentang sistem layanan tertutup dapat menggambarkan pemanfaatan layanan perpustakaan berada pada kategori besar. Direkomendasikan agar perpustakaan khususnya pada layanan yang menggunakan sistem layanan tertutup dapat menjadwalkan kegiatan bimbingan pemustaka terutama mengenai prosedur dan peraturan pada layanan agar pemustaka dapat memanfaatkan layanan secara optimal.;---This research was motivated by a closed access system in the service of Final Report and Thesis Service Point in The Library of IPDN. The problem of the study in this research is how relationship between the perceptions of users about closed access and the utilization of library services on the final report and thesis service point in the library of IPDN in Jatinangor. The research used correlational descriptive method with quantitative approach. The research instrument used is questionnaire and documentation study. Data processing used correlation from Rank Spearman. The population of this research was the students in their final semester who visited the final report and thesis service point in the library of IPDN and the sample of the research were 96 people. The results show that there is a relationship between the perceptions of users about closed access and the utilization of library services falling into the category of very strong and significant. The perception of the users about closed service system falling into the category of very good. The utilization of library service falling into the category of good. .The magnitude of the perception of the users about the closed service system can illustrate the utilization of library services falling into the category of big.. Recommendation is given that library especially in service which use closed service system can schedule user education about procedure and regulation at service so that the users can get benefit from the collections optimally.
