    Abstract

    Pembelajaran mengenai pola kalimat Bahasa Indonesia sangatlah penting karena
    pola kalimat sering dipakai dalam bahasa sehari-hari khususnya bahasa tulisan.
    Siswa tunarungu secara umum mengalami hambatan bahasa tulisan termasuk
    pemahaman mengenai pembentukan pola kalimat yang sesuai dengan kaidah yang
    berlaku. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kartu Barka dalam
    peningkatan pemahaman pola kalimat pada siswa tunarungu di SLBN B Pembina
    Sumedang. Rendahnya pemahaman subjek penelitian mengenai pola kalimat yang
    terdiri dari subjek, predikat, dan objek serta membentuk kalimat yang benar sesuai
    kaidah merupakan latar belakang dari penelitian ini. Kartu Barka merupakan
    media pembelajaran yang didasari oleh teori konstruktif dan metode Struktur
    Analitik Sintetik (SAS). Penelitian menggunakan metode Subject Single Research
    (SSR) dengan desain pengulangan model A-B-A. Subjek penelitian berjumlah
    satu orang siswa tunarungu kelas VI SDLB di SLBN B Pembina Sumedang. Hasil
    penelitian didapatkan peningkatan pemahaman pola kalimat pada subjek
    penelitian setelah dilakukannya intervensi menggunakan media pembelajaran
    kartu Barka. Sebelum adanya intervensi menggunakan media pembelajaran kartu
    Barka, siswa belum dapat membedakan subjek, predikat dan objek serta membuat
    kalimat yang benar. Setelah dilakukannya intervensi menggunakan kartu Barka,
    subjek penelitian dapat membedakan subjek, predikat, dan objek serta membuat
    kalimat yang benar. Jadi, penggunaan kartu Barka dapat meningkatkan
    pemahaman pola kalimat pada subjek penelitian.----------Learning about Indonesian sentence is very important because sentence are often
    used in everyday language especially written language. Hard of hearing students
    generally experience written language barriers including an understanding of the
    formation of sentence in accordance with applicable rules. The study aims to
    determine the effect of Barka card in improving the understanding of sentence in
    hard of hearing students at SLBN B Pembina Sumedang. The low understanding
    of the research subjects on sentence consisting of subjects, predicates, and objects
    and forming the correct sentence according to the rules is the background of this
    research. Barka Card is a learning medium based on constructive theory and
    Synthetic Analytic Structure (SAS) method. The research used Subject Single
    Research (SSR) method with repetition design of A-B-A model. Research subjects
    amounted to one hard of hearing student of grade VI SDLB in SLBN B Pembina
    Sumedang. The result of this research is increasing the understanding of sentence
    in research subject after doing intervention using Barka card learning media.
    Before the intervention using Barka card learning media, students can not
    distinguish the subject, predicate and object and make the correct sentence. After
    intervention using Barka cards, the subject of research can distinguish subjects,
    predicates, and objects and make correct sentences. Thus, used of Barka cards can
    improve the understanding of sentence in the subject of research.
