Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh upaya untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh setiap siswa di SMA Negeri 5 Bandung maupun SMP Negeri 5 Bandung. Tujuan penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kreativitas dengan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional dengan teknik Purposive Sampling sebanyak 359 orang. Penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa: (1) Secara umum kreativitas siswa SMA Negeri 5 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 berada pada kategori tinggi. Demikian juga setiap aspeknya kelancaran, fleksibilitas, originalitas, elaborasi, berada pada ketegori tinggi. (2) Secara umum kreativitas siswa SMP Negeri 5 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 berada pada kategori rendah. Demikian juga setiap aspeknya kelancaran, fleksibilitas, originalitas, elaborasi, berada pada ketegori rendah. (4) kreativitas berkorelasi positif dengan prestasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri 5 Bandung pada mata pelajaran PKN, Bahasa Indonesia, dan rata-rata nilai sedangkan di SMP Negeri 5 Bandung kreativitas berkorelasi positif dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Agama, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, Bahasa Sunda dan Matematika.----------This research is motivated by an effort to optimize the potential of every student at SMAN 5 Bandung or SMP Negeri 5 Bandung. The aim of research aims to determine the relationship between creativity and academic achievement of students. The method used is descriptive correlational method with purposive sampling technique. Samples taken in this study is based on students who have test data completeness creativity and have followed the test the creativity of the Laboratory of Educational Psychology and Counseling Academic Year 2013/2014 that as many as 359 people. The study revealed that: (1) In general creativity class XI student of SMAN 5 Bandung Academic Year 2015/2016 at the high category. Likewise every aspect of fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, that are in the high category. (2) In general creativity eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Bandung Academic Year 2015/2016 are in the low category. Likewise every aspect of fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, that are in the lower categories. (4) creativity is positively correlated with student achievement SMAN 5 Bandung on subjects PKN, Indonesian, and the average value while at SMP Negeri 5 Bandung creativity is positively correlated with student achievement in the subject of Religion, Indonesian, English , Sundanese and Mathematics. Recommended as a follow-up study directed to the field of curriculum, teacher guidance and counseling, and further research.
