Abstract
Membaca huruf hijaiyah merupakan langkah awal untuk bisa membaca al-Qur’an. Anak tunarungu mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca huruf hijaiyah yang disebabkan oleh hilangnya kemampuan pendengarannya. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Al Barqi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah pada anak tunarungu. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dalam bentuk pre-experimental designs dan memakai jenis One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa tes pilihan ganda dan tes praktik membaca. Pengolahan data penelitian menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil pengolahan data dan analisis data penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Al Barqi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah pada anak tunarungu di SLB Negeri Cicendo kelas enam. Metode Al Barqy ini dapat dipergunakan guru sebagai salah satu alternative metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah bagi anak tunarungu.----------Reading Hijaiyah’s letter is the first step to be able to read the Qur’an. Children with hearing impairment have difficulty in reading the letter of Hijaiyah caused by the loss of his hearing ability. This study is aimed to know the influence of Al Barqi methods to improve reading skills in children with hearing impairment of hijaiyah’s letter. The method used in this study is an experimental method in the form of pre-experimental designs and used a type of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instrument in this study are a multiple-choice test and a practical test reading. Processing of research data used Wilcoxon test. The results of data processing and data analysis of this study concluded that the method of Al Barqi can improve the ability to read hijaiyah’s letter for Children with hearing impairment at sixth grade-SLB Cicendo. Method of Al Barqy can be used by teachers as an alternative learning methods to improve the ability to read hijaiyah’s letters for Children with hearing impairment.
