Abstract
Kesadaran dan kepedulian manusia terhadap lingkungan tidak dapat tumbuh begitu saja secara alamiah, namun harus diupayakan pembentukannya secara terus menerus sejak usia dini, melalui kegiatan-kegiatan nyata yang dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Untuk menanamkan kesadaran akan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, langkah yang paling strategis adalah melalui pembelajaran lingkungan dalam mata pelajaran Geografi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi pembelajaran Geografi terhadap pembentukan sikap ramah lingkungan (Green Behavior) bagi peserta didik, untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi pembelajaran Geografi terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan (Green Behavior) bagi peserta didik, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran guru Geografi dalam pembentukan sikap peduli dan ramah lingkungan peserta didik melalui pembalajaran Geografi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey, untuk memperoleh data terkait pemahaman peserta didik terhadap sikap dan perilaku ramah lingkungan (Green Behavior) di pembelajaran Geografi dalam materi lingkungan hidup berkelanjutan. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi variabel bebas yaitu pembelajaran Geografi (X1) dan peran guru Geografi (X2) serta variabel terikat (dependen) sikap peduli lingkungan (Y1) dan perilaku Ramah Lingkungan (Green Behavior) (Y2). Teknik pengambilan sampel diambil berdasarkan cluster sampling (Area Sampling) sebanyak 254 peserta didik IPS SMA Negeri di Wilayah Bandung Selatan dari jumlah populasi 3.916. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Geografi memberikan kontribusi yang cukup signifikan terhadap pembentukan sikap peduli dan perilaku ramah lingkungan (Green Behavior) peserta didik SMA di wilayah Bandung Selatan dengan dipengaruhi peranan guru. ;---Human awareness and concern for the environment cannot grow just by nature, but should be trying to establish a continuous basis from an early age, through concrete activities close to everyday life. To instill awareness of environmental concerns, the most strategic step is through environmental learning in geography subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine how big the contribution of learning geography to the formation of environmentally friendly behavior (Green Behavior) for learners to understand how big the contribution of learning geography towards environmentally friendly behavior (Green Behavior) for learners, and to find out how the role of the teacher Geography in the formation of care and environment-friendly attitude of learners through learning geography. In this study using survey research methods, to obtain data related to students understanding of the attitudes and behavior of environmentally friendly (Green Behavior) in Geography teaching in matter of environmental sustainability. In this study, the independent variables are learning Geography (X1) and the role of teachers of Geography (X2) and the dependent variable (dependent) environmentally conscious attitude (Y1) and behavioral Sustainable (Green Behavior) (Y2). The sampling technique was based cluster sampling (Area Sampling) 254 learners Social class high schools in South Bandung area of a total population of 3.916. Instruments used in the form of tests and questionnaires. The results showed that learning geography contributes significantly to the formation of a caring attitude and behavior of environmentally friendly (Green Behavior) learners from high school in South Bandung area to be affected the role of teacher.
