Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah merupakan jenjang pendidikan dasar setara dengan Sekolah Dasar yang berbasis agama Islam. Jumlah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah yang tersebar baik tingkat provinsi maupun kota khususnya di kota Bandung dirasa masih kurang yakni berjumlah 72 Madrasah baik Negeri maupun Swasta. Jumlah tersebut kalah banyak dengan jumlah Sekolah Dasar. Munculnya isu bahwa eksistensi Madrasah Ibtidaiyah sebagai lembaga pendidikan di kalangan masyarakat mulai menurun ditambah dengan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana penunjang belum dapat melengkapi kebutuhan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya peningkatan baik segi jumlah dan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang mampu meningkatkan eksistensi dari Madrasah ibtidaiyah. Dalam perencanaan dan perancangan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah ini, tema yang dipakai yaitu tema Arsitektur Perilaku dengan konsep Sekolah ramah lingkungan. Tema Arsitektur Perilaku dipilih karena pengguna utama merupakan anak usia 6 sampai 12 tahun yang memiliki karakter dan perilaku yang berbeda dengan orang dewasa. Unsur tema Arsitektur Perilaku pada bangunan diterapkan pada kebutuhan dan program ruang sedangkan konsep ramah lingkungan diterapkan pada desain bangunan, tapak dan utilitas. Tema dan konsep ini menjadi solusi untuk menciptakan ruang dan lingkungan madrasah yang mampu memberikan rasa nyaman, aman, dan menyenangkan serta meningkatkan nilai religius pengguna. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah ini memiliki 5 bangunan yang dimasukkan dalam 2 fungsi bangunan yaitu fungsi utama dan penunjang.;--- Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is the primary education level equivalent to elementary school based on Islam religion. The number of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah spread both province and city level especially in Bandung City consider to be inadequate, that amount to 72 Madrasah both state and private. The amount is outnumbered by the number of elementary school. The emergence of issues that the existence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah as an educational institution in the community started to decline, in addition the supporting facilities and infrastructure have not been able to fulfill the needs of teaching and learning activities. Based on this, it is necessary to increase in terms quantitiy and facilities also infrastucture that is able to improve the existence of Madrasah ibtidaiyah. In the planning and designing this Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the theme that is used is Behavior Architecture with the concept of environmental friendly school. The theme of Behavior Architecture is selected due to the main users are children aged 6 to 12 years who have different character and behavior from adults. The elements of Behavior Architecture theme on the building applied to the needs and the program of space while the environmental friendly concept applied to the design of the building, site and utility. The theme and the concept is the solution to create space and environment of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah that can provide a sense of comfort, safety, and fun as well as enhance the user religious value. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has five buildings included in the two functions of the building, that are the main and supporting building.
