Abstract
Sampah merupakan permasalahan yang pelik dan sulit untuk dipecahkan. Seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk, volume sampah pun akan semakin meningkat. Sampah terdiri dari dua, yaitu organik yang mudah untuk diurai dan sampah anorganik yang sulit untuk diurai. Fokus terhadap sampah anorganik, memiliki penguraian yang sangat lama yaitu mencapai puluhan bahkan ratusan tahun. Untuk itu pemerintah menerapkan uji coba penggunaan kantong plastik berbayar selama tiga bulan guna mengurangi penggunaan kantong plastik di masyarakat, hal tersebut berlaku di beberapa daerah khususnya Kota Bandung. Penerapan uji coba tersebut tentu memunculkan banyak reaksi dari masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon masyarakat terhadap penggunaan kantong plastik berbayar di Kota Bandung dilihat dari aspek kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (sikap) dan konatif (perilaku). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Bandung dengan teknik pengambilan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebar angket terhadap 100 responden. Analisis data menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, respon masyarakat terhadap penggunaan kantong plastik berbayar dilihat dari aspek kognitif memiliki kekuatan persentase skor adalah 79,88 % (Kriteria : Kuat), aspek afekif memiliki kekuatan persentase skor adalah 76,83 % (Kriteria : Kuat), dan aspek konatif memiliki kekuatan persentase skor adalah 81,84 % (Kriteria : Sangat Kuat). Dapat disimpulkan secara keseluruhan masyarakat memiliki respon yang positif atau baik terhadap penggunaan kantong plastik berbayar di Kota Bandung.;---The problematic of trash is difficult to be solved. The volume of trash increases as the increasing of people population. Trash consists of two kinds. The first one is organic trash which is easy to decompose and the second one is inorganic trash which is difficult to decompose. Focusing on the inorganic one, it takes hundred years in the process of decomposing. So, the government implemented the trial of using paid plastic bag for three months to reduce the usage of plastic bag in the community. It was applicable in some regions especially in Bandung City. The implementation of that trial got many reactions from the community. This research aims to know the community response to the usage of paid plastic bag in Bandung City seen from the aspect of cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude) and conative (behavior). This research was conducted in Bandung by making use of purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected by spreading questionnaire to 100 respondents. Data analysis using percentages and Likert scale. The result shows that the community response to the usage of paid plastic bag seen from the cognitive aspect has 79.88 % score percentage power (Criteria: Strong), affective aspect has 76.83% score percentage power (Criteria: Strong), and conative aspect has 81.84% score percentage power (Criteria: Very Strong). In conclusion, community has positive response to the usage of paid plastic bag in Bandung City.
