Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran self efficacy karir pada penyandang tunanetra di SMLB SLB-A Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah tunanetra kelas XII Sekolah Menengah Atas yang bersekolah di SMLB SLB-A Kota Bandung, berjumlah tiga orang dengan rentang usia 17-20 tahun dan berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy karir tunanetra kelas XII Sekolah Menengah Atas yang bersekolah di SMLB SLB-A Kota Bandung secara garis besar memiliki self efficacy karir yang baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pembahasan yang menunjuk kearah positif pada setiap indikator. Sumber efficacy utama yang mempengaruhi self efficacy pada tiga orang subjek adalah pengalaman keberhasilan dan pengalaman tidak langsung yang dimiliki oleh subjek. Dari penelitian ini terdapat beberapa rekomendasi, yakni bagi tunanetra lain diharapkan dapat lebih mampu merencanakan karir yang ingin dicapai serta memiliki keyakinan atas rencana tersebut. Bagi pihak sekolah dan asrama sebaiknya lebih awal dalam memberikan pengarahan terhadap rencana pencapaian karir pada setiap murid-muridnya. Kata Kunci : Self Efficacy, Self Efficacy Karir, Tunanetra The purpose of the research is to describe self efficacy in career for blind students at SMLB SLB-A in Bandung. The general approach that is used in this research is qualitative approach that applies case study design. The subjects of the study are blind students at 12th grader in SMLB SLB-A Bandung, consist of 3 male students with age range of 17-20 years old.the technique for collecting data in this study is interview. The result shows that self efficacy in career for blind students at 12th grader at SMLB SLB-A in Bandung indicate good self efficacy in career. It is proven by the result discussion that shows positive indications. The main aspect of efficacy that mostly affects 3 subjects is the experience of succes and indirect experience. There are several recommendations that are provided by this research, it is expected by other blind students to be able to plan what they want to achieved in their careers and to have faith in the plans. The recommendation for schools and dormitories should provide early guidance of career guidance plan for their students. Keywords: self efficacy, self efficacy in career, blind students
