Abstract
Tutor menjadi salah satu komponen pendidikan yang berperan penting serta berpengaruh besar terhadap peningkatan belajar peserta didik, penelitian ini mengacu pada proses belajar yang kurang optimal sehingga perlu sebuah upaya yang dilakukan oleh tutor, yaitu dengan cara meningkatkan pembelajaran peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PKBM Geger Sunten yang dimana bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya apakah yang dilakukan tutor dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran dan faktor yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam upaya tersebut, dan penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Konsep tutor, konsep pembelajaran, dan konsep kesetaraan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi serta triangulasi data sebagai telaah untuk melihat keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tutor harus memaksimalkan perannya sebagai informator, fasislitator, inisiator, motivator, pembimbing, evaluator, mediator, dan organisator agar proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan baik, serta terdapat faktor yang mempengaruhinya yaitu faktor internal seperti minat, kesiapan, dan perhatian serta faktor external seperti hubungan tutor dengan peserta didik, lingkungan belajar, hubungan peserta didik, metode yang bervariasi dan kedisiplinan.;--- Tutor become one of the educational component that plays an important role as well as a major influence on the increase of learners, this study refers to the process of learning that is less than optimal so it needs an effort made by the tutor, namely by improving the education of students. This research was conducted at PKBM Geger Sunten that which aims to determine whether the tutor efforts in enhancing learning and supporting factors and obstacles in the effort, and research use descriptive method with qualitative approach. The concept used in this study is the concept tutor, learning concept, and the concept of equality. The technique of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation studies and triangulation of data as the study to look at the validity of the data. The result showed that tutors should maximize its role as informator, fasislitator, initiator, motivator, mentor, evaluator, mediator, and organizer for the learning process goes well, and there are factors that influence the internal factors such interests, readiness, and attention as well as external factors as tutor relationships with learners, learning environment, learners relationships, methods vary and discipline.
