Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Penyelesaian Masalah Penjadwalan Perkuliahan Menggunakan Algoritma Genetika (Studi Kasus di Departemen Pendidikan Matematika FPMIPA Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya beberapa masalah selama proses penjadwalan perkuliahan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu metode yang tepat untuk memecahkan permasalahan pada proses penjadwalan perkuliahan. Pada penelitian ini Algoritma Genetika diterapkan untuk menyelesaikan masalah penjadwalan perkuliahan di Departemen Pendidikan Matematika. Algoritma Genetika merupakan suatu algoritma pencarian yang memanfaatkan analogi mekanisme seleksi alamiah dan mekanisme kawin silang, mutasi, inversi, dan lain-lain yang ada pada genetika. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan, bahwa Algoritma Genetika telah berhasil diimplementasikan untuk menyelesaikan masalah penjadwalan perkuliahan di Departemen Pendidikan Matematika dengan cepat.;--- In this research, we solve lecture timetabling using genetic algorithm at Department of Mathematics Education FPMIPA Indonesian University of Education. There were some problems lecture timetabling, so we need to solve the problems well. In this research, we use Genetic Algorithm to solve lecture timetabling. Genetic Algorithm is a search algorithm that utilizes the analogy of natural selection mechanism and the mechanism of interbreeding, mutations, inversions, and others that exist in genetics. We also derive an optimization model for the lecture timetabling at Department of Mathematics Education FPMIPA Indonesian University of Education. The implementation results showed that the genetic algorithm has been successfully implemented to solve lecture timetabling at the Department of Mathematics Education quickly.
