Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari pemikiran tentang dampak aktivitas ekstrakurikuler taekwondo terhadap konsep diri. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas dan objektif terhadap pembahasan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Subang dan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pagaden yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler taekwondo sebanyak 26 orang, sampel menggunakan pendekatan total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket konsep diri. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data, ditemukan hasil perolehan presentase berdasarkan tingkatan sabuk yaitu konsep diri siswa yang menyandang sabuk putih berada pada kategori “cukup” dengan perolehan presentase antara 68.00% - 73.71%, konsep diri siswa yang menyandang sabuk kuning strip, sabuk hijau, sabuk biru, dan sabuk merah berada pada kategori “baik” dengan perolehan presentase antara 78.86% - 93.14%. Kemudian hasil perolehan presentase berdasarkan indikator konsep diri menunjukkan bahwa yang paling menonjol adalah indikator konsep diri sosial dengan perolehan presentase sebesar 82.18%.;--- This research starts by thinking about the impact of taekwondo extracurricular activities of self-concept. This research needs to be done to obtain a clear and objective picture of the discussions. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The population used is SMA Negeri 1 Subang and SMA Negeri 1 Pagaden that follow extracurricular taekwondo as many as 26 people, the samples using total sampling approach. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire-concept. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, found the results of the acquisition of a percentage based on the level of the belt is the concept of the student who holds a white belt in the category "sufficient" with the acquisition of a percentage between 68.00% - 73.71%, the concept of self-esteem that bears yellow belt strips, green belts, blue belt and red belt in the category of "good" with the acquisition of a percentage between 78.86% - 93.14%. Then the results of the acquisition of a percentage based indicators show that the concept of self is the most prominent indicators of social self-concept with the acquisition of a percentage of 82.18%
