Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan peningkatan kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis antara siswa yang belajar dengan Strategi REACT dan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran langsung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitiannya yaitu nonrandomized pretest-posttes control group design. Populasinya yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SD yang berada di wilayah gugus II Kecamatan Tambun Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas V SDN Tambun 01 dan SDN Tambun 10. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan representasi dan koneksi matematis yang signifikan pada siswa yang belajar dengan strategi REACT dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran langsung. ;--- The research aims to determine the ratio increased capability representation and connections mathematical between students that learning with REACT strategy and learning directly . The method used is quasi-experimental research design that is nonrandomized pretest-posttes control group design. The population are all students in fifth grade elementary school in the area of Gugus II Tambun Selatan, Bekasi. The sample were selected by purposive sampling technique there are fifth grade students of SDN 01 and SDN Tambun 10. The instrument used is test the capability of representation and connections mathematical. The results show that there are differences in students’ capability representations and connection are significant between students have learned with REACT strategy than Direct Instruction.
