Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masalah pelaksanaan evaluasi menyimak apresiatif novel di SMPN 1 Bandung dan SMPN 5 Bandung yang tidak sesuai dengan indikator pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: (1) profil alat evaluasi menyimak apresiatif novel di SMPN 1 Bandung, (2) validitas dan reliabilitas alat evaluasi yang dikembangkan, dan (3) respons siswa dan ahli terhadap alat evaluasi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D). Hasil penelitian berupa alat evaluasi menyimak apresiatif novel dengan aplikasi quiz creator. Jumlah soal pada alat tersebut adalah 30 dengan 16 (53%) soal dinyatakan valid. Validitas (r=0,631) dan reliabilitas (r=0,774) instrumen tes dikatakan tinggi. Alat evaluasi ini telah direspons oleh siswa dan ahli. Kelebihan dari alat evaluasi tersebut adalah praktis, menarik, berdampak positif pada psikologi siswa, dan dapat mengukur kemampuan menyimak apresiatif siswa. This research is based on problems of evaluation novel appreciative listening in SMPN 1 Bandung and SMPN 5 Bandung that are not congruent with the indicators of learning. This study aimed to investigate: (1) the profile evaluation tool appreciative listening novel in SMPN 1 Bandung, (2) the validity and reliability of evaluation tools are developed, and (3) response of students and experts toward the evaluation tool appreciative listening novel. This study used research and development method. The result of this study is a evaluation tool appreciative listening novel using quiz creator aplication. The questions in this evaluation tool are 30 questions with 16 (53%) are declared valid. The test instrument validity and reliability seem to be high. This evaluation tool has been responded by students and experts. The surplus of this evaluation tool are it is simple, interesting, gives positive effects to the student psychology, and it can measure the students comprehension in appreciative listening novel.
