Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran sistem operasi di salah satu SMK di Kota Bandung. Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran yang masih perpusat pada guru dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi hal tersebut yaitu menerapkan pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game dengan model Think Talk Write. Siswa memecahkan masalah secara individu (Think), berdiskusi bertukar pikiran dengan anggota kelompok (Talk) dan menuliskan hasil yang diperoleh dari diskusi (Write). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Merancang dan membangun multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis adventure game dengan model Think Talk Write menggunakan algoritma Divide and Conquer pada pelajaran sistem operasi. 2) Mendapatkan informasi peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game dengan model Think Talk Write. 3) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game dengan model Think Talk Write. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan multimedia model Siklus Hidup Menyeluruh (SHM) yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi dan tahap penilaian. Data penelitian didapatkan dari angket survey lapangan yang diberikan kepada guru dan siswa, angket validasi ahli terhadap multimedia, angket respon siswa terhadap multimedia, dan juga instrument tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil: 1) Multimedia pembelajaran berhasil dikembangkan dan dinyatakan layak dengan kategori “sangat baik” berdasarkan penilaian ahli media sebesar 81,32% dan ahli materi sebesar 88.75%. 2) Implementasi multimedia pembelajaran berbasis adventure game dengan model TTW dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan indeks gain sebesar 0,5 masuk kategori sedang. 3) Hasil analisis respon siswa terhadap multimedia pembelajaran berbasis berbasisi adventure game mendapatkan hasil “sangat baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 85,7%.;--- This research is motivated by the lack of understanding from students in subject operating system at one vocational school in Bandung. This lack of understanding caused by limitations of instructional media used in the learning process, which is also still centered on teachers. One way to overcome this issue is by applying the learning feature using multimedia-based interactive adventure game with model Think Talk Write (TTW). Students solve problems individually (Think), discuss & exchange ideas with members of the group (Talk) and write down the results obtained from the discussion (Write). The purpose of the study were: 1) To design and build an interactive multimedia learning feature with adventure based game using the Think Talk Write model utilising algorithms method Divide and Conquer in operating system’s subject. 2) Get an improved understanding of the concept from students after using multimedia-based interactive learning adventure game with model Think Talk Write. 3) Understanding the response of students to multimedia-based interactive learning adventure game with model Think Talk Write. The method used in this research is the development of multimedia model Comprehensive Lifecycle, which consists of the analysis phase, design phase, development phase, implementation phase and the assessment phase. The research data was obtained from field survey questionnaire given to teachers and students, expert validation of the multimedia questionnaire, questionnaire responses of students to multimedia, as well as test instrument in multiple choice. From this study, the results are: 1) Multimedia learning feature was successfully developed and declared eligible as "excellent" by media expert’s assessment and by subject matter experts with the rating of 81.32% and 88.75%. 2) Implementation of multimedia-based interactive learning adventure game with TTW model can improve the students’ understanding of the concept with an index gain of 0.5 in the intermediate category. 3) The results of the students’ response analysis to multimedia-based interactive learning adventure game was "very good" with an average of 85.7%
