Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Untuk mengetahui efektivitas implementasi model pembelajaran teaching indutry yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 2 Subang, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan : 1) wawancara mendalam, 2). Observasi, 3). Studi dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian : peneliti merupakan kunci dalam penelitian ini, karena sifatnya yang responsive dan adaptable. Peneliti sebagai instrument akan dapat menekankan kepada keseluruhan objek, mengembangkan dasar pengetahuan, kesegaran memproses, dan mempunyai kesempatan untuk mengklarifikasi dan meringkas. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Implementasi model teaching industry, belum efektif. (2) Siswa pada semester 2 dan 3 melakukan kegiatan praktek kerja industri dilaksanakan setelah siswa memiliki kompetensi dasar secara utuh, (3) Kurikulum sinkronisasi dibuat dalam penyelarasan kompetensi yang berdasarkan struktur kurikulum dengan kompetensi industri yang dilaksnakan dalam pelaksanaan teaching industry (4) kegiatan pembelajaran teaching industry telah terjadi perubahan secara tidak langsung dalam hal ini belum disadari oleh pimpinan sekolah sehingga efektivitas program pembelajaran teaching industry di SMK Negeri 2 Subang perlu dilakukan untuk peningkatan ke arah yang lebih baik sehingga bisa terjaga dari kualitas maupun kuantitas kompetensi yang didapatkan siswa setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran teaching industry tersebut. ;---- The aim of this research is to know the effectiveness of the implementation of teaching industry learning model in SMK Negeri 2 Subang. This research used qualitative approach. Data collection used: 1) deep interview, 2) observation, and 3) documentation study. Research instrument: the key of this research is the researcher itself which has responsive and adaptable characteristic. The researcher as the instrument would be able to emphasize all objects, to develop basic knowledge, to keep the process freshly, and to have a chance to clarify and to summarize. The results of this research are: (1) the teaching industry learning model was still ineffective yet, (2) the students on the second and third semester do the working practice on industry which is applied after the students have the entire basic competencies, (3) curriculum synchronizing is made in line with the competency on the industrial based curriculum structure which is implemented in teaching industry program, (4) in teaching industry learning activity, it has indirect changes which has not been realized yet by the principal so that it needs to keep developing the teaching industry learning program in SMK Negeri 2 Subang on a better way. By doing so, it can keep the quality and quantity of the students competency after following the teaching industry learning activity.
