Abstract

Anak tunagrahita sedang mengalami kesulitan dalam berperilaku disiplin di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian pendahuluan menemukan bahwa terdapat tujuh anak tunagrahita sedang tingkat SMPLB yang sering melakukan pelanggaran aturan sekolah. Mereka berbicara tidak sopan kepada guru, tidak mau menunggu giliran, dan enggan bergabung dalam kerja kelompok. Mereka sering terlambat datang kesekolah, berpakaian tidak rapi, mengambil barang dan keluar masuk kelas tanpa izin, serta tidak mengikuti perintah guru. Anak tunagrahita sedang memerlukan disiplin untuk mengetahui hal yang boleh dilakukan dan hal yang tidak boleh dilakukan, mereka membutuhkan disiplin pada aturan sederhana di sekolah. Untuk meningkatkan disiplin ketujuh subjek penelitian, maka dilakukan pembelajaran menggunakan metode sosiodrama. Sosiodrama merupakan metode pembelajaran bermain peran dalam setting kelompok sebagai upaya mengenalkan aturan kepada anak. Secara umum, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode sosiodrama dalam merubah perilaku disiplin anak tunagrahita sedang tingkat SMPLB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi terstruktur. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan statistika non parametric dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan diagram. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan dari skor pre-test ke skor post-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, maka hipotesis penelitian ini diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Sosiodrama memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan perilaku disiplin anak tunagrahita sedang tingkat SMPLB di SLB ABC Bina Mandiri Kota Bandung. Kata Kunci : Tunagrahita Sedang, Disiplin, Metode Sosiodrama Moderately Retarded children have difficulty of behaving discipline at the school environment. Preliminary research found that there are seven childrens with moderately retarded in SMPLB level, often in violations of school rules. They spoke disrespectful to the teacher, do not want to wait their turn, and reluctant to join in group work. They are often late for school, dressed neatly, pick up and out of the classroom without permission, and not follow the orders of the teacher. Children with moderately retardation need discipline to find things that can be done and what should not be done, they need discipline on simple rules in school. To improve discipline aspect of seventh subject research, the learning is done using sociodrama method. Sociodrama is a method of learning with role playing in setting group in an effort to introduce rules to children. In general, the purpose of this research is to know the effect of implementation sociodrama method in changing the disciplined behavior of children with moderately retarded in SMPLB level. The method applied in this research is an experimental method using One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. The data was collected by structured observation. The data obtained were processed using non-parametric statistics and displayed in the form of tables and diagrams. The result of this research is the increase of the scores pre-test to post-test score. Based from data analysis, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, and shows that the implementation of Sociodramas method have a positive effect on improvement of discipline behavior of children with Moderately Retarded level SMPLB in SLB ABC Bina Mandiri Bandung City.
